Hey viperkid... could you tell me whether the Bose headphones, which are shown in the N91 ads,are compatible with the 3250?If they are, then will they consume too much of the battery?

no doubt its cool.
BUT its lag.
i bought it for 3 days and had to go to nokia care. they gave me a new one. and now having it for another 3 days, it has another prob again.

yup! no need to download SW, juz send d keywords "GO N3250" to 2951 if im not mistakin'.. and yes u can watch it almost full screen in landscape mode! (small bars on top and bottom around 2mm each..) to get d proper settings or u may copy streaming settings here:

re price of 3250, oo nga ang bilis mag drop ng price, i was a bit shocked when i saw na ganun na nga ang price, hanep ang bilis unlike previous symbian phones di ba?! if i only anticipated na ganun ka bilis mag drop ang price i would have wa8d up to now to buy and save around 6,000.00 pesos! =)

tnx..i'm a globe planholder..and yes, globe uses EGPRS..EDGE has been with them for quite sometime now..anyway, so i wont need any software to watch tv?can i watch it full screen?actually, i havent got the 3250.I'm about to buy it pa lng.the price keeps on dropping kc.

for those who r asking for d best audio settings, my files is on mobango.com and they are STILL upgrading their site therefore i can't give u guys d link for it so u can imitate d screenshot of d equalizer.. i hope they fix their site faster.

Im very displeased with this phone. i bought it about a month ago thinking that it was a really good phone. Is was, but then suddenly it couldnt read my SIM. there was NO NETWORK at all and it kept Rebooting. so i sent it to Nokia Care Center. And i collected it after a week. after changing the board, my phone still cannot read my SIM. they cannot find out whats wrong. and they said that they have to take it back for another week and that they'll give me a new set. i think the Software in the phone is NOT good. So dont buy this phone if you can. its features are great but the inner quality is crap.

if ur a smart subscriber, yes pwde ka makanuod ng mga music videos, movie trailers and other clips (ung pre-recorded stuff..) but take note, i tried watching live streams (e.g. abs-cbn, gma and live traffic cams) via smart's 3G portal (coz they only charge 35 pesos for d first 30 mins of live streaming content.. ung iba nga like music videos r free) but it says "not enough bandwith". though u can watch live shows on smart but u have to use d non-3G portal (i.e. smart's home wapsite) under d links streaming > and click d links for 6630, 6600 etc, but using d said link will cost u per kb of d content u r watching.. juz change d settings on ur real player like: under connection, proxy > use proxy = no; under network, options > advanced settings > GPRS bandwidth > user defined > 37.52 kbps, not to forget, u have to activate "SmartInternet" as ur default access point. if ur under globe, i've checked their website, it says that they charge for EGPRS, so i think globe is EDGE ready therefore u can stream live shows on 3250! so in short, if ur a smart subscriber u can watch live shows when using d non-3G portal with a per kb charge. assuming globe is really EDGE compliant, EGPRS is enough to watch live streaming contents such as ABS-CBN, GMA7 shows, et al.

Commment on Nokia 3250 vs SE W810i

Well, W810i is not a smartphone so it's not accurate to compare the two phones. W810i's competitor would be the upcoming Nokia 6233 (you can check out the W810i review on mobile-review.com). Here in the Philippines, W810i is more expensive than 3250. W810 is currently selling at P20,000.00 while 3250 is at P17,000.00. But it doesnt mean that W810i is a better phone. Why?Here's the reason :
Nokia N70 is selling at P20k so it's not appropriate for Nokia to sell 3250 at that price range. Who would buy 3250 at P20k when u can buy an N70 w/ d same price?N70 has the same features with 3250 but with a 3G support. Next, W800i is selling at P16k (from P25k last December 2005). Who would buy W800i if Sony Ericsson would sell W810i at that price range?So they had to sell W810i at a higher selling price so not kill the sales of W800i. Now, since W810i and the highly rated nokia N70 are selling at almost the same price, who do u thing will win?Your guess is as good at mine. An smartphone with 3G support makes the difference. Sales of W810i is very slow at this moment because of a higher price range.
So that's it, I previously had W500i/K750i and i'm sure W810i has better music quality than 3250. No argument about that. Its camera would be the same case, it should be better than 3250. However, 3250 is a smartphone and u can put 3rd party applications which makes it more "classy". Design wise, i still go for W810. But with the price range right now of both phones, Nokia 3250 is a wise choice to buy.
So hope that helps. Hey viperkid, is there a way to watch TV on 3250 like N70?I know N70 has 3G but is the EDGE technology on 3250 enough to watch, say, ABS-CBN shows?I know a software that works in N70 but i doubt if it will work with 3250.tnx.

Yes .This fone can be activated to Offline mode so u can only listen to music and use the camera etc , but not Making calls or SMS

the softwares u r trying to install are 2nd edition softwares. u have to install 3rd edition softwares which support ur o.s. 9.1.
u can download few of the softwares from www.symbian9.com. though most of them are demos.
try them n buy if u like...

u have to update for the latest software from the nokia care centre.
the latest available is
