Thanks ViperKid, one more question. i just got my phone this weekend. is there anyway i can keep a miss call notification on my screen saver? when i am away from my phone for awhile and come back, i won't know if i have a miss call unless i press a button or unlock it. also, can i have the screen saver show me the battery life and reception?

how can I turn of the camera shutter sound? even in the silence mode I can hear the camera shutter sound!

hi everyone. I just got a Nkiioa 3250 and it seems balm. but i have two problems with it.
1) The applications that already exist are not compacible with it. this eally sucks.
2) I am a prepaid customer here in my country, Nigeria. But whenever it try to key in the balance request code-*556#- it just telss me DONE but never shows me the balance. This is really very annoying as I have to put my SIM card in another phone to be able to check my credit balane. Pls can anyone out there tell m ehow to solve this problem? my iMIE no is 357934003508586. pls reply to {patoslekky@yahoo.com} and am waiting for a response. Thanx

How do i remove the most recent application opened on my home screen? when i closed my radio, on my home screen, it has a short cut to it underneath my other short cuts.

hi its a good phone but the only problem is that it take too time for its processing specially at the time of sending messages please do something to cure this problem

yes u can. no u don't hav to put names in caller groups to do it, juz go to d name and personalize the ringtone field to ur preferred tone!

Its a wonderful phone with an excellent audio clarity and superb camera,looks neat and the colour combination is good.This is surely my next phone.

can i set individual ringtones to the names in my phone book? or do i have to put people's names in call groups for different ringtones?

it will last about 2.5 to 3 days assuming u make/receive a total call for 30 - 45 mins only, and around 20 msgs received/sent per day, dat's d case if u dont use d music player/fm radio, bluetooth and browse d net nor play a game... and of course, if u set d screen saver timeout to 1 minute.

dat wil reset some of the settings to their original values, after resetting, the phone may take a longer time to power up. all documents and files that you have created are left as they are. if ur not experiencing any problem, then its not a good thing to do coz u hav to redo d settings for active standby, default memory in use, shortcuts, etc all over again in ur preferred formats..

u probably had d pre-production firmware or perhaps u got ur unit with ur network operator... i suggest u hav ur firmware updated for free at ur nearest nokia centre (if u got urs in an authorized store). may i know ur firmware version?? juz press *#0000# wyl on idle screen.
shake:
try this go to tools > app mgr > options > settings > application installation > then choose "#on" or "all" depending on ur firmware. note 3250 is based on S60 3rd edition previous symbian files created for S60 2nd edition and lower will NOT work on 3250/N80/N71/N73/N91/N93 unless d creator of dat application/game/theme updates it to make it work on this new S60 3rd edition! don't worry we need a little more time for freewares as such to pop up, besides nokia is d no. 1 handset maker, for sure developers are now making lots of games/apps/themes for this new symbian edition... : )

...this phone is kinda cool. saw it while searching the net one day...
all the advantages from it, need i say more?
there is a big (to me at least) disadvantage which draws it from perfection...and that is the little navigation key in the middle. it's so hard to use! other than that i think it's expensive for now...gotta wait till time passes so the prices go down. all in all it's a good one.

i still can't download any application except for the themes, there are a lot. i want to have the keylocker application and the screensaver maker. i hope it will be available for this phone. i tried the links you posted but it all didn't work. i even try to download from the wap, but it will just say that it is invalid jar file. the sad part is my load is lessen still.
