assuming ur running windows on ur computer, right click on d track u want to rename then select > open with > windows media player, after that, under d "now playing list" right click on d title or file then hit > advanced tag editor, from there u will b able to edit ID3 tags dat 3250 recognizes. u can change track info, artist info, etc.. don't forget to rename d file itself too by right clicking on it then select rename (this will help wen u tranfer ur tracks to ur phone and use file mgr to search tracks..)

wen u receive a call, u'll hear ur ringtone then after a few more seconds, a robot like voice will say the caller's name wyl ur ringtone kinda plays on d background and resumes playing ur tone loud again once d caller's name was pronounced.. u hav to hear it, its GREAT! speaker independent voice technology!
Jack L:
u may try to twist ur phone to music mode then back to phone mode. may i know ur firmware version? juz press *#0000# wyl on idle mode

Nokia 3250 is a superb phone, got all the features except 3G. No worries, who cares. its a Music Phone and I love it. hey the Camera quality is not bad too, pics taken in sunlight gives good quality. The rotating feature is the best part, u will not c such a damm good thing in any other phone.
Im facing just one prb - im not able to convert music files from mp3 to eACC+ from the Nokia Music Manager software. As i try to convert it says Pending n then it get hangs n no results. Any help VIPERKID??
I read other users are also facing the same prb....hey anybody got the way out of it?? please let me know..
Anyone one from NOKIA listening???
----------------------------------------
However there is one option to convert from mp3 to eACC+, go to website:
http://www.poikosoft.com/
from here click the doanload tab on the left side to download the .exe file. Install it, open it and click the AUDIO FILE FORMAT CONVERTER tab.
Now from bottom select output format (settings are: .mp4 (aacplus) at 64kbit/s 44100Hz Stereo).
This will reduce the file size to approx half the original mp3 and will give u the superb quality. I did it n enjoying the music in Mp4 format.
One can choose another format with different settings too.
Remember: Its a demo version, one needs to buy the full version orelse it will get over after limited days.

please ignore d one i posted earlier..
BEST AUDIO/EQUALIZER SETTINGS FOR 3250!
(when default HS20 inbox earphone is used)
edit HS-20 default settings to:
Reverb = off
Stereo widening = on
Bass boost = off
then follow this link and imitate equalizer setting as shown:
http://mobango.com/media_details/n3250s_best_equalizer_setting_v3/kW_0a_Y5a0Y=/#
there is NO need for registration or to sign up as long as u only view d image and not download it otherwise u have to register.. (though u may right click on it and save)
ENJOY!! : )
NOTE: when listening music through loudspeaker, d above setting is NOT recommended. for me, d best audio setting wen listening thru loudspeaker is "POP" (but u have to edit it to enjoy a better sound quality)!
from music player go to:
audio settings then edit POP and restore it to default after that edit it once again but this time adjust the rightmost band to the highest or maximum value.
if d link does not work, juz try again some other (after 10 mins) time bcoz mobango is currently in progress of updating their site..

i've got a problem...
i use the lock code very often, and i've set an autolock peroid of 5 min.when i twist the phone to music mode, and leave it untouched for more than 5 min., the phone locks automaticaly, and the number keypad doesnt work at this point, so i cant unlock the cell! the only keys that are ready to function are the 4 music keys.when i try to enter the code, there is no sign of any change in the phone's status.the only way out for this has been to remove the phone's battery without switching it off, so anyone.. please help me.. thnx

Honey:
u can try this, im not sure though..
connect ur old phone to ur pc using cable/infra/bluetooth and use pc suite then back up ur 6230 using "Backup" of pc suite after that restore d backup file of ur 6230 to ur new 3250 using d same program (backup)
or, alternatively u may want to borrow ur friend's/brother's/sister's SIM and insert it on ur 6230 and manually send all ur msgs to ur new phone... (i juz comed up with dat idea coz here in r country, unlimited txts r offered on prepaid subscribers, so its not that expensive even sending hundreds of msgs.. it may sound alot of work but its worth saving precious msgs, especially love quotes, friendly msgs, holy msgs etc!) : )
