for nokia 3250 owners, here are the best audio settings! (for those who missed, i posted this b4)
-d lowest tuning i have marked them as "0", the next line (higher when u press up) is "1" and so on... (hope everyone gets it..)
inbox HS-20: (edit HS-20 default settings to)
activate this setting when u will listen thru d provided earphones!
-(from d leftmost band to the rightmost)
leftmost = 4.5
next = 0
next = 4
next = 5.5
rightmost = 10 (max value)
reverb = off
stereo widening = on
bass boost = on
------
activate this setting when u will not listen to earphones or as i may say activate it for d best sounding loudspeaker!
edit "Pop" then click options then hit "reset to defaults" after that, edit it again but this time only change the rightmost band to its highest level (maximum)!
reverb = off
stereo widening = on
bass boost = on

As a happy 3250 user, just wanna add my 2 cents worth on why I love the phone.
1. AAC+ version 2 support (think this is the same as EAAC+). Great quality at half an MP3 size. Talk about space saving on a 512 card. Also, I think this format sucks less batt also.
2. Great batt life. This is the first music phone I have found that I can listen to hours of music and only charge the phone every 3 days. And when I mean hours...I mean hours (about 8 hours or more). May be due to AAC+ though...
3. Speakers: Wow...louder than any other phone in the market and sound good as well.
4. File transfer: faster than any other music phone can muster so far and I mean phone to PC...not using a stupid card reader. To think that samsung's latest 4 gb music phone uses USB 1.1...what a joke...
Everything else is pretty much the same as other phones. Now some feedback on things that if you dun like, stay away from the phone.
Camera: if you want good camera go and get SE phones.
Sound Quality: Very subjective but my opinion is that the W800i sounds better (I have one to compare). But if you are seriously particular about this...go get a dedicated player then. Why I dun like my W800i? soft speakers, super sucky batt life, slow transfer rate and limited format support. Everything that the 3250 has...
Joystick: Yeah this one sucks...no denying. But most phones with joysticks suck so no issue there.
Limited software support: Yeah real bummer so far. but at least I have some excellent java software and once the support rolls in...problem solved. And anyway...music is the key to the phone. So not bothered about software.
Build: on one hand it's got a good feel with the metal casing and on the other hand, there are some flimsy plastic pieces that feel like they can fall off. Just one advise...dun drop this phone...

Dude, if you are so particular about sound...then the phone is not for u. I would rate the W800i as a better sounding music phone. But I still love my 3250 for many other reasons. U cant possible compare this phone with the best players in the market. If u want quality, stick with the ipods, creatives and irivers. If you want a decent music phone with flexible format support and good batt life, then give the 3250 a go. Trust me, no music phone has it's format flexibility and fantastic batt life...

hey everyone, im ali, i've always read the user opinions of the nokia 3250 and i must say that im impressed at what nokia has released...however i have a question that i really want answered..personally, i have high standards when it comes to sound quality, i enjoy my music loud and with bass..but what confuses me is when i read expert reviews of the 3250 from other sites like infosyncworld and even on this site 'Rubiks phone,' they both say that the sound quality is poor yet most of the reviews on this site claim that it has excellent sound quality..i used to have an ipod and i believe that the ipod had good sound quality, the maximum volume is loud and has a good equaliser so i was impressed...my question is to those who have a nokia 3250 and have or have had a ipod (not a ipod shuffle since it has no equaliser), please give me a detailed comparison between the sound quality of an ipod and a nokia 3250...thx alot evryone :)

Since you have 3230, you can tell whether the flash is of necessity for you or not and whether you need a secondary cam. Also nokia has no problems with software availability. Moreover; you must take in consideration that 3250 has a higher drive capacity and designed for multimedia (music).

This phone is realy good phone nokia had mand till now but there is only one problem in this phone is that there is no flash light other wise the is very good phone

ur welcome! no they don't have 1gb microSD card yet, but the sales lady told me it will cost approximately PhP7,000.00. the shop is located at the cineplex floor "nokia store"! on the other hand 3250 sells around PhP27,000.00++ at automatic centre and besides f u buy in nokia store they'll also give you a DVD - Gorillaz live! btw, to give u an idea, i have about 220 songs in eAAC+ and 20 tracks in AAC) and it consumed only 320mb, amazing!

no, its NOT true that EVERYTHING you put on 3250 will be automatically be saved on the internal memory, the problem is YOU bcoz u selected internal memory as the target, y don't u select the memory card from the phone browser on ur PC instead of the internal memory so u won't have to free up space frequently and besides i can ASSURE you that even W810 or ANY mobile phone (except w900, i300, N91 and the like but take note these models are on a high end track and costs way more expensive than 3250 and W810) will have this problem and EVERYBODY knows that matter! one more thing 3250 supports microSD and NOT memory stick! perhaps you really don't have 3250 in reality to say those unfair comments...

I havn't had a nokia for a long long time, and now i remmember why! this phone is awfull if you are looking to get one of these things i strongly suggest that you don't bother! its really fidley and awkward to use, but the worst thing about this phone and something i could not beleive was its lack of memory, i put a couple of short videos on and it was full, everything you put onto the phone is automaticly saved onto the pathetic internal memory (not the memory stick) so you constantly have to keep free-ing up space to transfer files, be it vids, pics or most disapointingly for me Music from your PC, i'm sending mine back and getting myself a SE W810i and i cant wait!!!

my 3250 lasts up to 4.5 days no calls, just texting with some music around 2 hours, 30 mins of gaming, half hour of browsing.. yes bluetooth is 2.0 (but EDR is not present [bluetooth stereo]). eAAC+ has smaller file size than AAC+ (if im not mistakin'..) one full track in eAAC+ is around 1.5 mb.

i got mine at nokia gateway mall and it cost me if i remember correctly PhP23,990.00 it comes with 512mb microSD with SD adapter, usb plug, HS-20 earphones with 3 rubber plug sizes, charger, PC suite 6.7 with adobe and ulead video editor. of course it has 1 year warranty! i have no idea how much it costs in greenhills though.. : )

i m haveing this set 3250 and its creating great problem to me!!!!! when i m in call & sms comes it start to ring and after ring it automatically open the loudspeaker option by it self may any having this trouble by this sort. coz it hangs now and then is difficult to use it and after hang it has to be unplugged the battery is only solution.

Hello, guy u know this phone is made for only music purpose no doubt sound quality and music features of 3250 is good and 2 Mp camera but when we compare 3250 with (Nseries) it lack behind from camera because (Nseries) is only series from Nokia which has capability to capture the better still photos and MPEG4 video,the quality of MPEG4 is awesome.N one more thing about MPEG4 is,in mp4 format the sound is recorded in AAC format,the all frequencies in aac is quite good to listen,the bass n treble as compared to mp3.So remember 3250 is only made for music.If any body hv any problem do tell me if i can i will solve ur problems..
