viperkid u've been giving v good comments about this phone, and this phone looks promising to me also, i'd like to get one too, but after the horrible experience with 3230's sound in its earlier firmwares, it really didnt giv a gd impression of the nokia 3xxx phones, or nokia itself.
just hope that this one's an exception.
being a 3xxx phone i dont expect its sound to be like SE W phones or N91. as long as it doesnt giv crappy sound like what 3230 used to do,i'd be thankful. in fact i'd be happy if the sound thru earphones is the same as the 6630.
a pity it doesnt have infrared.

ZuL:
yes it has definitely better loudspeaker (in quality and loudness) than 6270 but when compared to SE P910, their quality is somewhat d same wyl d loudness (i'll rate em 1-10, d highest s d loudest)
3250 = 8.8
P910 = 9.5
re mem card, my sales package contains 512mb microSD and now i already used around 370mb and i don't sense any slow down on d performance of symbian 9.1!
yes 3250 is very user friendly, u will surely agree wen u test it urself, it has very logical menu structure! music player is excellently superb and easy to control coz u can find or search ur music files by artist or by title by entering d first letters of the song/artist, 'ala' phonebook! plus u can opt to search by categories like genre, artist, playlists (u can also create ones in d phone), composer, album and d like and if u added some tracks or a huge collection juz hit d update music library and voila ur new tracks are added thru its respective categories automatically (provided u've entered d necessary info wen encoding tracks)!
hussam01:
yes u can transfer contacts from phone memory to microSD and vice versa, also to sim card! u can also copy/transfer unlimited no. of msgs to memory card (as long as u have free memory)!
to others:
no d joystick is not too stiff nor too sensitive, for me its just right. if ur talking about screen res, 3250 has an average screen nowadays (take note 3250 is kinda in d middle of mid end and high end segment). my twisting mechanism works 100%, i don't remember any instance dat it failed its purpose whether im into music or camera it works exactly wat u would want it, don't believe others who says dat its not working or it only works sometimes coz probably dey have d prototype or dey really don't have d unit in reality to tell the TRUTH!
i have around 220 songs and and it consumed approximately 320mb only! i used d eAAC+ with 48kbps, it has a quality of around 92% compared with AAC 128kbps dat has a quality of around 98% from d original source (except for high pitched and beyond harmonic distortion frequency of a track) which leads ur eAAC+ not very useful so u can switch those songs to AAC 128kbps for best results otherwise use eAAC+! in my case out of 220 songs, i've got around 20 tracks of AAC coz those tracks don't sound great wen u use eAAC+ codec (dey sound distorted)..

Sam:
1) i only have d phone for around 2 weeks, so far its not becoming loose and still 98% accurate.
2) yes it supports video playback. yes you can export from PC to phone via BT or cable, supported formats (in video) are: (video) H.263 P0 L10 (3GPP), MPEG-4 VSP, RealVideo 7,8,9/10; (audio) AMR-NB, AMR-WB, RealAudio 7,8, 10, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+ with a resolution of 176 x 144 and bitrate of 128 (150 max). or in other words (if ur not d technical type) u can use d included software "Ulead Video Toolbox Plus 2 - Nokia Edition" in d sales package for easy conversion of your video files to be playable on 3250!
3) so far, mine has 0% dust particle inside d screen surface.
4) yes it is a Series 60 phone (3rd edition) definitely 75% faster and more stable than 2nd edition (e.g. 6680, N70, 6630) but on d other hand, for d interim, around 3 non symbian signed freeware are available only and previous S60 apps/games will not work til developer of dat game revised it to work on d new 3250 or d upcoming N80, N91, N71 & N92! same with playing n-gage games still not possible unlike with older S60 phones mentioned above but cheer up coz nokia said if im not mistakin dey will offer "the new nokia mobile gaming solution" this 2006 for S60 phones with d same quality of games found on n-gage platform!

Hey people, 3250 is dream. Just got this phone yesterday and lemme tell ya " ITS ONE HELL OF PHONE". One of the best smart music phones that nokia has revealed till date. The music quality is very good and user friendly. Camera is a bit of concern in terms of clarity but still ends up takin descent pictures. The black colour looks like a dream. Go for it widout 2nd thoughts. Complete value for money. Best price in India would be around 17K.

Hi frnds,this is da nokia's greatest music phone.No doubt.Even its sounds r too louder and so much clear than nokia 6230i.I think its speed than nokia 6630 which was 223 MHz.Menu is so fast.so phone is not struct & reboot as 3230.Its headset is also very quality and gives a rich look.
Sound quality is excellent.Buy this phone and enjoy the music. Only drawback is this phone doesnt have IR &flash.

The menus are very fast. A lot faster then the Nokia 3230. Overall we can't say that it's an enhanced version of the 3230. It's a class on it's own.

Is this phone really faster than a 6630 or even an N70? And is its camera really better than an N70's?
