only 4 things bad about the 3250:
no infra-red
no camera flash
no stereo bluetooth
and that terrible system error notification sometimes while clicking pictures

Why the hell u want infrared??? Wat u think the bluetooth is there for??? Most phones now have bluetooth. Just u using old phones without bluetooth and only know infrared.

This looks like a brilliant phone. Really hope the launch doesn't clash with the ROKR E2. I'm in split minds about these two phones. I'd ideally like a Motorola or Nokia phone, and Nokia do have the best reliability, for me anyway. This phone has all my needs too, and 2MP camera!
Please be on the Orange network!! Haha.

sorry to say but this model does not have infrared port. meaning you can't exchange data (like ringtones, calendars, contacts, etc) to older devices for free or wirelessly unless you send d stuff via SMS, MMS, and (some old models) thru e-mail.. also, another disadvantage of not having that port is the fact that this one has symbian OS, installing the "remote tv" application won't work with it since hardware is not present. anyway, ask for me, infra port is not that a big loss, as long as bluetooth is available! besides old infrared version is kinda slow so it's not very efficient to transfer large files (e.g. music files like mp3 and AAC, not to mention .sis files, themes) but contrary to the new infrared version found on 6125, if im not mistakin' which i guess is faster (1Mbit/s)! (pls. correct me if im wrong)

for me, 3250 is definitely better! 3250 can store up to 750 songs on just a 1 GB of microSD wyl W800 approximately 250 - 350 full tracks only on a 1 GB memStick compared to 3250. yeah W800 has higher resolution screen (apparently only higher by 12 pixels) but its tiny compared to 2.1" screen of 3250, i wouldn't mind if it has less than 12 pixels! besides 3250 supports editing, sharing & creating of playlists thru the phone and can play WMA files! plus the fact it has Symbian OS meaning you can install 3rd party software like quickoffice, tons of series60 games/applications. besides i don't see a major thing that W800 can do that 3250 can't, but im sure for a fact that 3250 can do something (not a minor thing) that w800 can't, like installing quickoffice, 3rd party messenger (e.g. agile, etc.) play WMA files plus much more!

w800 is still better..the screen has higher resolutions, it has macromedia flash in it and the sound quality..its nokia and sony..camera wise i guess we still cannot confirm who "wins"..but i will buy w810i if i got to buy a new phone..

This phone is over-hyped. And because of that it will never sell like the other Nokia S60 smartphones. Its specs are clearly similar to other previously released S60 Nokia like N6681, N3230,N7610,N6630,N70,6680 and so on..with very minor differences. The twisting thing is only a Novelty and doesnt offer anything positive to the end-user, it will only cause headaches when time comes because like other phones with moving parts (clams,sliders and swivels)it will WEAR OUT whether you like it or not. Try dropping one of these phones on the floor..bye bye hard earned cash.

it will be available this 1st Qtr 2006 (meaning between Jan-Mar 2006) and will cost approximately $400-$450 SIM free (no subscription). if you live in the Philippines, someone at Nokia store told me it will arrive end of February (actually, the much awaited N91 also), WOW i can't wait to buy it and purchase a 1GB microSD card and store around 750 full tracks on it! but wait, this one has symbian OS so i better divide 1GB into two so i can use half of it for games and applications/programs like Adobe PDF, MSword/excel/powerpoint readers and/or editors!

I was lokin 4 a smartphon wit small size, s60, fm radio, good battery life & budget price. i think dis is d one 4 me! 3230 has a poor bat. & sound. hope 3250 mp3 sound b at least like k700. wel done nokia!
