hey folks..
i bought this mob last yr..
had software prob every month but i updated..
but nw, a month ago, it was hanged n i gave it to service. but they said v cant help it out. they said it may work if i change d whol circuit board. now i was in corner. so i jus keepin the mob useless n pland 2 get new1 this week.

I recently bought Nokia 3250 and it is a good phone.It has alot of functions which are good.There is only one disadvantage I have to charge every day. i dont know whether the battery is not Nokia 3250 original or thats the way the phone is.otherwise it is a good phone

I'v been using the nokia 3250 for 6months now . It's a very good phone ...problems are - no flash , the anologue stick also wears out ...but the quality is great and it does stand out in crowds . The battery life is good . I think it is the closed u'll get to a N series

hey guys, jst bought n3250 from a friend. great phone. the battery is very good for music playback and internet etc.... but it really sucks at the calling department especially recieving but i can live with that. my main prob is finding the software. plz help

hey guyz just chill..i think nokia 3250 is a damn good phone for music lovers...ya it has some problems...like no flash..etc...but its a solid phone with overall good features..ya its resale value is not that good...but it stands out in crowd...its not COMMON..like all other popular nokia mobiles!!!nd guyz its sound is the best...i bet...so just njoy...

I've never used n76 but its n-series nokia, so it should be ok. Be careful with it and its skin should last.

ugly , bulky phone have no resale value and casing , bodycase is of very low quality
other mobileslike k790 k800 and k810 are better than this hv resale value ,excellent camera and sound. don,t take this phone

thanks dr.adedoyin, but i have heard some guys said when they connect their mobile sets as to upgrade firmware after updating when they restarted phone , phone didn't respond and gone in basket for forever whats that make it clear plz does it cost like this if we try to upgrade firmware and from where u used to upgrade nokia site?? or somewhere else..!! kindly reply me in details

@Sammer,
My 5700 is updated to Version 03.83.1. That's the latest version. When you buy, it may come with the earlier firmware version and you have to upgrade using the Nokia Software Updater. This phone does not hang and its sms is not slow. It does not need sms accelerator.

Sorry to reply you late Sameer.
N70 is out of the contest. Its an old symbian phone not up to N73 which is also not up to 5700. 5700 is symbian OS version 9.2 release 3.1. Its same system with N95 and it has a dedicated audio chips for enhanced music. Its very fast, much faster than 3250. N73 wins only in camera department. It has about 3mega pixel camera with autofocus. Its also louder than 5700 but sound quality of 5700 is better. The S.E. k790 is a good phone but too ordinary. After using a symbian phone am sure K790 will not satisfy you. Its camera is same with N73 but may be a little better being a sony ericsson phone. The contest actually is with N73 and 5700 but given the price range and extra features, 5700 in my opinion, is a good buy. I have been using 5700 for the past six months and i had the same problem of choice when i wanted to upgrade from 3250. I can tell you, am happy i chose 5700.

Helloo dr. adedoyin! how r you sir! i have always been lookin for ur great opinions about diffrent mobiles, but this time am gonna ask something new,so plz tell me what to do im about to buy a new phone..i have choosen three and now want to select one of these,NokiaN73,N70Music edition,Nokia5700 and SonyerricsonK790i..tell me what the basic diffrence is among these mobiles..coz i have to selecet within my price range so u moght know better which phone is best for music for calls,fast speed processing and camera..im just lookin forward to ur opinion kindly reply me with detail as soon as possible..thanks Miss u

I 'was' using a Nokia 3250 HP till a couple of months ago. I went in with Auto-roaming to a neighbouring country & the network never came back. Unfortunately I missed a few days on my warranty & couldnt get ot fixed without changing a major part.
I read somewhere that I can try to change a certain capacitor & it may solve the problem
but I am having trouble trying to open the casing.. :(

to format the phone is actually *#7370# and the message that will be on ur screen is "restore all original phone settings?Phone will restart." before that pls backup all your phone directory to ur micro sd card, about all the other applications? just install them again! and don't use the PC suite,its slow,for me, just use the cable directly to the PC using "data Transfer"
Its true when there are to many applications on board you wont be able to view them with the application memory..and dont worry all the normal applications in the phone will still be there...but if you want to keep your sms pls also transfer to ur micro card, all the other applications such as the themes, picture editor some other stuff can be obtained from the nokia website, www.nokia .com find 3250 and then support and software..or also try mobile9.com
