    Thanks for the help, went out and bought a 2GB card and it works great, I can't notice a difference.

    Has anyone compared this phone to the newer 5700 from Nokia?

    I'm thinking about giving mine to my girl and upgrading to the 5700 but I'm not too sure.

    What does everyone suggest?

      i hav 2GB microSD d brand is SanDisk and it works perfectly [only 4-7% slowness in d music player wen searching a new track by typing d letters wyl playing a track, i hav 900+ full tracks in .M4A format] rest of d phones menus, functions remained d same!

      if u live here in d Philippines, u can buy at CDR King, dey hav d best deal i've seen!

      currently it only supports up to 2GB but if nokia decides to make it compatible with microSDHC cards by firmware upgrade in d near future, 3250 wil definitely support up to 8GB microSD!

          Hello.

          I have had this phone for about a week now and it's great. I need to buy a microSD card now for it but I was wondering if it takes 2GB cards or even 4GB cards?

          Everyone tells me the highest it will accept is 1GB, is this true?

          Can I use a 2GB? maybe 4GB?

              hey Viperkid,
              will try formatting. u din get me wen i sed 'no number'. i kno if u get an international call u get it as no number or call 1 on ur screen. my problem is, all i can c is jus d wallppr on screen and d screen has lit up. i cannot c who has called even if its a local call. well, i'll try formatting anyway. will let u kno.
              btw, my firmware is 4.14.

                Have this phone for half an year, and went well. But today it blocked so bad that i couldn't stop it from the turn off button. So i took of his batery... Anyone knows a code for restart like windows has ctr-alt-del?

                  about rcvng calls on ur 3250:

                  a) simply d ringtone u selected has a long silent part at d beginning.. try to select 'nokia tune' or 'message 1' or other sound files

                  b) make sure u don't have any duplicates on ur phonebook (e.g. Mrigrank and Joshua shares or hav d same no.)

                  c) perhaps u and d person calling Mrigank Pawar r not in d same country (network issues). d "no number" usually appears wen ur caller is a roamer or outside d country where u are or simply out of area and cannot b identified by ur home network/network partner (in case u r d roamer). how bout other callers? do u exp d same probs? if yes den i think u should soft-format ur phone by pressing *#7370# (b sure to backup all ur data in d phone mem first b4 doing dat), if it does not work hard-format ur phone press *#7780# wyl on standby screen (dis wil also erase data in d internal mem, so b sure to backup first) if problems persists, re-install/update ur firmware using NSU

                  d) if u still have d problem, bring ur phone to d nearest authroized srvce ctr

                    wenever ppl call me, i can only c d light, d name, number AND ringtone comes later.
                    i hope u r gettin wat i'm sayin.
                    wen sum1 calls me, he/she says, "it rang for 5-7 times. wher were u?". n all i can c is jus d light n no number on my screen. there is a biiiig delay.
                    wat can b d problem?
                    i can only c d caller's number after it 5-7 rings (caller's end), whereas, i cant even hear d tone or c d name n number!!!
                    PLZ HELP ASAP!

                        u can't install .sis or .sisx (symbian apps/games or installation files) on 6233



                        Tomal:

                        first, (if ur using Windows XP) u must unzip d zip files u hav by:

                        right click [with ur mouse] on d said zip file and choose 'unzip' or 'extract' or any word alike and choose d location where u want d contents of d said zip file be unzipped

                        after dat, use PC suite's (Install Applications) and go thru d normal way of locating and transferring of installation files like java (.jar, .jad) or symbian (.sis, .sisx)

                        if u don't hav winZip, download this free trial program first:

                        and install it on ur PC. then follow do this:

                        right click d zip file and choose 'extract here'

                        u'll see all contents 'unrared' or 'unzipped' in d same location wer u right clicked! good luck =)

                              Sad But True, my 2300 and moto w220 FM radio is thousand times better than my 3250.

                              at my 3250 I dont get any bass but at 2300 and w220 great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                              I get my 3250 from Bangladesh. super bad phone. bad quality image(compared to any 2megapix SE phone), bad sound(compared to any 2megapix SE W phone).

                              Dont know, why nokia service is not upto mark.

                                and how wud i cum to know that its simple and the other is xpress edition

                                  i guess u hav no choice but to delete at least 200 msgs on ur sent items.. i believe N3250 has a 1,500 sms limit if phone mem is used in d first place unless u hav selected microSD as d default storage d very first time..

                                  i suggest dat u bring it to ur nearest authorized srvce center. if u live in d Philippines, u can try brightpoint alimall to hav ur firmware updated for free if ur phone comes with 1yr warranty (dey charge about 500 pesos if warranty is void) or for ur convenience u can do it at home (DSL connection recommended) juz download nokia pc suite and NSU (nokia software updater here) b sure to backup all ur data as chance of deletion of em is high. here's d link:

                                    hi all,
                                    im getting memory full message when im trying to send smses and receive sms, even though i changed the memory of message to use Memory card memory which has got nearly 150MB free memory.
                                    im not able 2 send and receive msgs please help me out in this regard

                                      I hava a question about the nokia 3250 phone, i have a problem with my phone when i use the camera mode it wont let me use it to make a video or a pic it does not show through the camera and writes general error on the phone and when you view the video it does not play the video it just has the sound so i was wondering if ne1 knew how to fix this problem
