juz download "sms accelerator" to ur PC made by nokia (since Sep 2006) as d solution 4 ur problem and juz transfer it to ur 3250 then finally install it:

m not sure f copying d "mail" folder in d microSD wil mean d same in 3250 (coz its a symbian 9.1 multimedia computer with different software architecture and stuff compared to 6630...)

Using it for 2 months now and really luv the way it has worked. N thnks 2 all POSTERS HERE for clearing all my doubts over the firmware upgardation. (3.24 to 4.14) Nokia is too Good 2 resist!!

i already upgraded my n3250 to v4.14.previously v3.23.the process only took less than 30 minute.of course so much advantages over previous version as already mention by someone before.about the sound, i not really appreciate the differences because i never use more than 80%.it already loud to me.so who want to upgrade just do it.you will be happy. it up to you..and i love my phone very much now..)

i tried wat u said. activated the general profile n made sure no app runnin, n then backup, but same happens. neway i guess i cant backup but i want to atleast save my msgs dat are on the mem card (im goin to format it 2 dats y). how do i do dat? in my previous cell n6630, there was a folder called "mail" which containd the msgs so wen i formated its mem card i simply copied that folder into the formated card. neway i cud do the same for 3250??? thnx

guys the 3250 with the firmware V 3.18 is the best firmware out there for music if u have a computer at home with the nokia pc suite then dont upgrade to 4.14 ,u will regret it later,i have my 3250 for about a year now and still havent upgraded my firmware,AND NEVER WILL.id rather buy a new 3250,this phone with this firmware beats the se models and the i-pod.

TO THOSE WHO GOT DOUBT ABOUT MEMORY,
it can be expanded to 2 gb coz i hve 2gb in my nokia 3250.

AEN and ZUZ:
go to tools > app mgr > and select d theme u want to remove and hit options > remove
(if u can't see d theme, then u installed a non 100% compatible theme to ur 3250) u can still remove it by connecting ur phone to d USB cable and select 'data transfer' (also b sure to "show hidden files" on ur windows) and finally browse thru ur microSD card and look for d folders "Private" d themes u installed on d microSD must show therein. good luck

sarja u r saying that 2gb card is not supported with n3250 ... but viperkid saying that its possible ? .... i opened that link http://europe.nokia.com/A4160248 given by viperkid >> then select data and then memory cards ... it did'nt show any thing due to olf version of flash ...

yup, i guess u hav to bring ur 3250 to ur nearest authorized service centre... or better yet ask for replacement if still in warranty or replacement period. btw, does all ur mp3 or aac hav those issue? if not den, certain music files of urs myt juz b corrupted or somethin', try to re-rip or re-download new ones and try again, if problem persists, then u should really visit ur service centre..

he is telling me that he cant run the sound after a while in listening in the MP3 and sometimes acc files not other formats those formats can 3250 read them then whats the problem ?

after d page loads, click on 'data' and hit 'memory cards' and 2GB microSD is listed therein and u'll clearly see dat 3250 is included as one of d compatible phones using 2GB! =)

2Gb isnt supported by n3250.
ab speed at 1Gb ,v good. I myself using it.
For better speed, u can save ur sms at mem crd.
My 3250's speed is realy v fast!
3250 is bettr than early n series sets.
its 1nd only drawback is bad photo @low light!
