too bad man but regarding the scratches on our phone either u gotta change the housing of the phone or strip the phone and spray the metal parts to matt black and then put them back on,u can buy a tin of matt black paint at any automobile shop ,these are the only options markers wont work out and yeah u gotta create ur own themes with ur favourite wallpapers.too bad nokia sometimes screws up with housing and panels for phone when that should ce readily available at any authorised nokia center.

i have been using this phone from the last 8mnths this is a bad bad bad quality phone rather say nokia is bad quality i have been given 3 replacement phone and none of em wokked fine

I dun think dat ur wallpaper can be full screen on d idle screen. it is because it only can display 176 x 208 pixel. u can create ur own themes on this website:

u can also download themes for free. n of course if u create ur own theme using ur fav wallpaper, it will appear full screen.

I have this mobile phone and I think it is amazing! Dude if you wanna listen to your favorite music, chat on the MSN, make your own video, watch your favorite videoclip, so buy it! I have no problem with it... to me NOKIA is the best! You can do almost you want to with this, you can travel listening your music..... simply the best! Other phone wich is the best is the W810i by Sonyericsson... That's it!

@viperkid / roger I love this phone. And yes 3.18 is the best firmware. Is there anyway to make an image as a full screen wallpaper. It comes very small when i try... And also my 3250has scratches an the sides of the body. Any help? I tried using a permanent marker but doesnt stay for long. Plz help!

hey, i really like to add a bluetooth headphones for this phone, mainly to listen music and sometimes to talk on phone with, therefore i dont want the small piece you see every business man has, i want the complete headphones,...
what models do you suggest me?

hey guys.....the N5300 built-in speaker are louder than N3250.....u can try 2 compare the sound....N5300 really loud!!!!

i tried that soft reseting before... no results at all, the same message keeps appearing. I tried to format using [green]+[*]+[3] when turning it on, but got a blue screen reporting that an error has occurred. I was wondering if I could format it via PC, using as a mass storage device.

hi.. i know everyone of us experiencing of this bad 3250 ftures.. all its advantage is the good quality of sounds. but i really hate with this is the camera, it has no flash, and its getting blurr after i take a shot.. why is it like that?? an dit gets freeze for a long time till i reach the point that i have to remove the battery to restart it again..goodthing my friend w/c has the same foen as mine found a software to access its sms.. to make it faster and no freezing at all..
hope nokia will release a new 3250 with flash.. and more clearer images..

im using the 3.18 for the last 10 months and it seems perfectly fine ,music is simply fantastic,much louder than all current firmwares the phone runs pretty fast no problems with the music library in other words i have no problems whatsoever,ive been using various headsets for my phone currently im using the hs-28 which is awesome,so i think that this is the best firmware ive also compared the differences between the other firmwares,guys its pretty logical if im bringing a product into the market ill pack it with the best stuff to attract the market to buy my product therefor since the v 3.18 was the first firmware i would say its the best always.ill rather buy another 3250 than upgrade my current firmware to the 4.14.

yup dat's true, but as for my exp. only when HS-20 earphone is plugged in and not with my A4Tech MK-620 which has d same quality and loudness against firmwares < 4.14. d difference in Hs-20 headset is around 10% less (100% volume in 4.14/23/24 is only 90% in 3.18) but again not true with other headsets i have like A4tech, panasonic, philips which has d same volume as 3.18. yup, d phone wil run faster 100% in all aspects, don't take my word for it but see posts here and u'll notice fellas hu upgraded r mentioning it. also, take note dat 3.24 has d same reduced volume as 3.24/23 (when pluggin in HS-20) so if i were u, i'll upgrade to 4.14! broadband/DSL connection recommended in upgrading. also, d loudspeaker does not hav any difference in quality and loudness in 4.14 against 3.18.
here r some fixed bugs in 4.14 against 3.21/23/24:
-white balance effect in camera fixed
-smoother zoom in video and still modes
-no more delayed audio in videos (against 3.18/21. audio when playing videos now syncs correctly
-new theme "together" wil b installed
-no need for sms accelerator
-backup in mem. card wil work (unlike in 3.18) function in organiser > mem card > backup mem...
-no need for sms accelerator
-bigger font in msgs plus background image does not get distorted anymore when reading long msgs
and much more! its up to ya if u want to upgrade. as for me, i hav no regrets at all! =)

do this, first backup ur data in phone mem using d drag n drop method wyl in usb mass storage mode 'data transfer' (and not d 'backup' utility in nokia pc suite) then press *#7370# wyl on standby screen to soft format ur phone. note dat all phone mem data wil b deleted. after dat install browserNG.sis or d nokia's web browser and u'll hav no trouble at all! cheers

the 4.14 is better than 3.24! for example.. when i had 3.24 i couldn't update my music library cause an error stopped the process! now, i have no problems updating it.. so, in my opinion, the 4.14 is better than 3.24.
(I forgot to mention that i have the xpress music set and i don't know if is any software difference between this set and the standard set)

roger, you said 4.14 is the worst? why's that? and didn't you recommend badbone to upgrade to that from 3.24, does that made 3.24 "worst-er" hehe ^_^ , but seriosly, why so? how's 4.14 as compared to 3.24?
and what makes 3.18 so great?
