I've used this phone for a year now and I'm pretty happy with it. It works fine, sound is good enough (not great), and it is very robust, like they used to be! I've dropped it loads of times with no damage :D
Unfortunately there are some annoying design flaws. Selecting texting mode is counter intuitive, I'm no longer using capitals since that's 9(!) button presses away from lower case. Texts are threaded but sometimes get out of order. Selecting language per text doesn't work, I have to change the language for the entire phone. Also, it has very little storage so I have to delete texts, photo's and calendar entries all the time. Camera works for functional purpose (numberplates and such) but that's it (I like that actually, no temptation to take selfies on here). No note-taking app which I do miss. Snake game is on here but a weird new version, not the original one! Why!?
I bought this specifically to NOT go online (tried the Opera browser on it, it's 2007 level) so I'm happy with the little connectivity, but surely some innovations are just better! Threaded text is in there, so why so little storage? Still, I'll keep using this since it feels like freedom after a smartphone ;)

guys this phone is a remake of the classic nokia 3310, don't expect to be smart as a smartphone. was built (or rebuilt) to ofer a second option when you want to get some privacy (no gps, removable battery)or to get somewhere where you don't need distraction. This phone is perfect the way it is.

JoshuaReen, 17 Aug 2020Why doesnt Nokia distribute J2ME devices anymore? :-( this ... morethey still distribute j2me devices... sometimes gsmarena doesn't say that... afaik the phones that they sell that have j2me is Nokia 3310 3G, Nokia 3310 2G, Nokia 216(any phone with S30+, 4GB+ RAM, and internal memory more than 32mb literally has j2me), Nokia 5310, Nokia 220 4G(maybe idk). J2ME on a forked incompatible android can be possible but i don't think anyone developed a 3rd party app yet... on KaiOS devices KAVA emulator exists but the dev stopped supporting it a year ago to make the appwork you have to use KaiOS 2.5..
