i am planning to buy this mobile as i saw it..i felt so stylish n comfortable to use..
but the opinions here r negative...why?is it a bad phone?? is there heating prob 4 this mobile??n battery prob?? n wht is the difference between digital zoom and optical zoom?? n which type of zoom does this mobile has got? plz reply hu kno betta abt this phone...

Suman , 04 Aug 2008Guys,I have a problem with nokia 3500.Phone is nice.But whe... moreit's not all a problem with the phone it has digital zoom not optical zoom in optical zooming the image is viewd close but the size does not reduce as ...but there may be some bad quality images if we zoom more but in 3500 the zoom does not reduce the quality but not size so don'nt zoom more it has digital zooming technology

I have read a few comments about the heating probl... morehey people who say this mobile has heating problem are really foolish even n series or any other mobile gets heat if we talk more time it's just the nature of an electronic goods any way till no i did'nt face any trouble regarding heating becoz i play songs hours together using loud speaker and talk more than half an hours at nights but i did not face any problem it is best in music and average in camera it is comparable with n series in its photos.............

I just bought this phone for $100 dollars. It's not a bad phone the screen is smaller than I would like it to be, and another bad thing about it, is that it gets hot after 10 minutes of talk time or so, which makes it uncomfortable against the skin of your face.
Also it is suppose to go to silent mode when you hold the # key, but mine doesnt for some reason. Other than that it is worth it for $100.

Comparing the other nokia 2 megapixel phones the clarity of the 3500 cam is astoundingly low

I havent faced any heating problem or nething. The fone is an all in one for sure, great buy! A MINOR problem, VERY Minor is that you cant customize the font color and such things, which you can even do in the 2630 but that shudnt keep ne1 from buying this lol

yeah i have a problem with the heating. if i talk for more than 10 mins straight, it gets uncomfortable, and i need to switch to a handsfree set.

this is not ur mobiles fault, and that is the difference between optical zoom n digital...digital zooming is not xactly zooming...it reduces the resolution n hence the pic size n quality..

I have read a few comments about the heating problem in this set and thats the only thing thats holding me back from buying this set.So, can anybody please tell if its a common issue in this set or only a few people are facingthis issue?
