How is this on battery life? I'm planning on getting one as a phone for trips and I usually write SMS'es all day long, how long will this last being constantly abused by SMS?

nokia 1680 clasic is better than nokia 5030 above..but nokia 1680 more cheap than nokia above...

mine has crashed.no display..just the white led backlight on display and cant be turned off.technician has finally put the programs back.he said not a good buy as he observed circuit board copper lines easily corrodes.yes,its superhard keypad could cause your thumbs to cramps...

Dave, 02 Dec 2010The keypad of this phone is a massive FAIL!I agree but you have to admit the torch is awesome as well as the battery life. Mine last exactly 1 week on one charge and if i don't use it then....

good phone's look.. but featureless.. battery is very good, sounds loud and ROCK, keypad doesn't matter, its average
i hope NOKIA whould like to release it with mem.card

i have this phone half a year, i'ts good phone for hard work, flashlight helps all of the time, keypad is awkward. good phone for workers, radio helps in dinner time ;)

johan, 05 Nov 2010Nokia 5030 has good battery life. I charged my phone twice ... morejust open radio and press left button in the centre button it will be minimize.....

the keypad is suck like press a button at public phone,my hand always swallow to press it...my advice,don't try to buy this handphone...

This is the only Nokia set that I did like. First it becomes invisible in the Sunlight. Secondly, its Keypad is too bad to use. Third, the contact search option also creates problems sometimes.
