Why is the voting results for this phone below 8? Seems like everyone loves this phone! We looked up quite a few other phones and this one seems solid. We'll be getting ours soon!

To those that wanted to know the difference,
5140= 850mhz(USA), 1800mhz, 1900mhz(North America)
5140i= 900mhz, 1800mhz, 1900mhz(North America)

you can throw it , you can carve it , you can stomp on it , you can drive over it , you can drop forty storey building and it still works. I love this phone im a builder from the west and im impressed. I also love the 3mp camera and the bluetooth. SWEET GOODNESS

This phone is sooooo good, it has 4 mp camera, bluetooth, 3g, mp3, web browser, is completly waterproof, you can drive your car over it and yet it wont break!! The keypad feels really good to use, it will work with any carkit available, the battery last for 2 weeks, will accept 1gb memory card. I am sooo in love with this phone cause i am a big hairy builder and it does everything i want, ITS FULLY SICK ***** LOVE JON xoxo

I use this fone for work and it really gets hammered and so far it hasn't broken. It even stands up to the test of my temper and has survived several hard impacts when I have thrown it against walls. All in all a great work phone and nothing else.

this is a good mobile phone....i swear...i bought it from hongkong...they upgrade the software so it can write chinese characters....cool although it cost me 100 HKD...so i buy for 1150 HKD...very cheap isn't?wakakaka!

i was wanting to know from anybody if the 5140i plays mp3's? can i send mp3s from my pc to the phone and will they play? need an answer urgently.

Are you guyz SURE that the specifications are correct for this phone on this page? I compared it with the 5140 and it seemed that this phone is LESS sophisticated than its predecessor?
I guess someone made a mistake. Wonder what the differences are between the 5140 and the 5140i...

Things I love: The look and feel, the buttons (including navigation key) , the indicator light (wish it was a different color and flashed more frequently though) and the menu.
Things I hate (or wish they would improve): Screen Resoloution (CSTN????), include bluetooth and increase memory.
I really would be willing to pay more for the added features...I work in a corporate environment and get complemented on this phone all the time (eventhough most of my colleagues sport nokia 8800's, 9300/9500's and the new N's). I think there is a strong market for a durable yet high tech phone if Nokia is up for the challenge. Overall I do love this phone, and I hope next time around nokia will leave the exterior intact and work on improving the backbone.

this phon is great having many good feachring but having many advantages it has also a low space for collecting data.so request is plz increase the memory. Also plz tell me that how the mp3 ringtones can get.how?
