i also have this 5200.i just bought it a week ago.but i found this phone a good one.i love ite feature express music.the battery is ok...im looking 4ward to use it for the next years,,,

aNdReW, 04 Mar 2009I wan ask whre to go if i want to download themes and the o... morehi andrew,maybe the problem is w/ ur battery.it also happened to me b4.the solution is to use a good battery.so try to replace ur battery.nweyz,u can download themes,games & tones at any cellphone stand.or u can send via bluetooth.compatible applications for 5200 mostly are themes frm 5300,6300,5310 or 7210 supernova.

areej, 12 Apr 2009ive been using nokia 5200 since 9 month. last time i switch... moreu should go to the nearest service center to have ur phone checked.bcoz if u kip entering a wrong code,it will be blocked.ur phone nids resetting.it will be restored to original settings.the default security code for nokia is 12345.

I have this phone for past 2 and half years. Usually people say that they can't hear when they call or a person cannot hear them on other side. I had similar problem but after some R&D and investigation came to know that it was not a problem with my phone but "Airtel" Network. I have now changed the network and my Phone is working absoultely fine (Crystal Clear voice). Only Problem is battery which i have to charge everyday.

laungauwana, 19 May 2009what do people mean when they say that it hangs? evan thoug... moreur phone may hang bcoz of the memory.mke sure that the storage u are using is ur memory card.if u use ur phone memory,always check for the available memory.

i already ask for gprs activation of my phone and until now it is not yet activated, i already did the manual selection.i dont know what is the reason behind it why until now i cant activate it. i bought my cellphone in taiwan.i dont think it is china phone.

this phone is great!!! I luv it!! its very strong...i've always been dropping it on the floor but its still strong!!! But now im deciding if i should get a 5220 or a 5310....i really dnt knw which to get :D

Danny, 14 May 2009The most common problem about this phone is the speaker, af... moreSPEAKERS !! is not the problem main problem is to know how to manage EQUALISER :) im using this phone sence 3 years and its stand still. cristal clear sound. no servicing no repiering only i flash it with latest firmwere. because the old version of firmwere has some problem with its volume manager :) so upgrade ur firmwere :) ITS GREAT !!!

This phone is a speakerphone, I owned one and it was a speakerphone and a good one too.

I had this phone for a year and it was great, it survived being run over by a bus so its really good for people who aren't really careful with phones. Only downfall is the phone is kinda bulky but not heavy.

been using this fone for almost 2 yrs now... and i really pleased, sometimes the speakers suddenly does work but i just give it a shake or a slap and it works again hahaha... well im happy with its overall performance and lookinh to use it for another year before i change phones.

The most common problem about this phone is the speaker, after about a year having this phone, the speaker sometimes doesn't sound anymore, looks like the speaker contact lead misaligned or some kind of it. I heard that 5300 has the same problem too.
Second problem is the rubbery case seem too fast to get dirty, you need some kind of hand pocket to keep this phone out of dirt, I have red one and it gets almost dark red by now.
And the worst, is because the rubbery material used for the case, the rubber can get hard and cracked easily. I have this phone for 2 years now and the rubber case cracked everywhere...
This phone surely not for rough user like me...
