Hi,
Myself Giri, I am using this phone since one and half year, i have one small question, whether by using USB data cable, is it possible to charge the Battery ?. Please let me know if it can be charged using USB data cable.

WARNING: Do not buy the Nokia 5200! It's the worst phone I have had in the last ten years. It stopped working one month after purchase, and NOKIA does not honor any warranty. I have been fighting for the last three months to have this phone replaced. The phone company and Nokia just toss the ball around blaming each other.

i just bought the 5200.
my friends told me that, take care of the mobile its waste after 6 to 8 months.
its latch(slide) wont work. the speaker also.
is it true?

I Have had this phone for just over 6months. I has constantly caused me troulbe. It is flimsy. Due to the fact it's a slide phone there is now a loose connection, my key pad doesnt always work, the lights flicker sometimes and my speaker is broken. Compared to other nokias it is far from waterproof.

hi im planning to buy 5200... what do you think of? is this really bulky? do it have a flash in the camera ? do it have zoom in taking pictures,, pls advise me,,, if it is extended is it long size?, whta do you think if i confare it to may nokia 3650//// pls advise me asap,, thxn a lot,, i dont have budget that other cellphone unit can i buy than 5200???

the music came off after only a week of inactive use. More improvements need to be done on this model.

This Phone Is Not Good.
entry level music phone .. the camera is a bit blurry...but its acceptable ... its got a memory card.. a really good music quality sound ... a compact design ..really cool sliding capaility... a pretty fasionable phones for a low budget... with bluetooth and infra - red capability....

it depends in what country you buy it. in my country it came with all the accessories including USB cable, headphones, and a 256mb MMC.

NOKIA 5200 is a nice phone, especially it has been found quite popular among the college students and teenagers. The screen is quite small so there is no need to bother about the quality and variety of wallpapers and screen savers, be it animated or not. The sound output is very intense and sharp. Stereo widening and POP, ROCK, JAZZ, NORMAL modes are available. Any music plays well in this phone. What really upsets is the resolution. During day time it is very difficult to see what is happening on the screen. Screen resolution is very poor indeed. Phone memory is only 5MB. What upsets me that in the sales package there is no USB DATA cable or MMC, etc..... In a word, not very satisfactory.

I don't regret buying this phone. m loving it and still is. Those say this phone not good, i think they're just careless.

a have that phone and i could tell i'm glad for it......work's wey good...of course because the camera is vga......the pictures doesn't are all the time perfect....but is fine!!
