to Maritza: Advantages - dedicated music keys for easy playing of musics, comes with a 2mm jack so that you can use any headphones you like, sound quality is very very very nice unlike other nokia phones, and most important is its more cheaper with the satisfaction of all your music needs unlike music phones like Walkman phones that give you the same quality but more expensive.
Disadvantages - ofcourse battery life, and back cover is kinda hard to take off.

to Tiara : if your really looking for a kick ass music phone and your kinda low in budget you will definitely love the nokia 5300 xpress music, all your music needs will be satisfied by this phone.
Yup, it has a security feature too, if you really wanna lock it you have the pin code request and for normal use you can use the security code request everytime your phone is on standby mode so your sisters/brothers cant use your phone when your not around.
The headphones are good but if you really like to experience very good music you can always use any kind of earphone you like, i think every package has its own jack for any headphones. Hope i can help.

What about the headphones? if they brake, is it easy to find new ones or can u justuse any normal headphones? A reply wud be appreciated thanx loads!

hi,
I’m a new 5300 user. yah the phone is pretty good but the battery backup is disgusting.
everyday i have to change it even twice. and it takes approx. 3 hrs to recharge. my room
mate have Sony erriction walkman phone(550),almost same features but its battery backup ios
amassing and of course the music quality is better than nokia. I’m using nokia for last 4 years.
plz reply something, I’m in great trouble with my battery.
Not only that now I’m thinking to purchase a sony erricssion walkman phone. Even one of my friend is using n91 and he is also suffering from the same problem. He is about to by a pocket mp3 player.
SO, MY QUESTION IS IF YOU CANT MAKE A GOOD BATTERY, WHY? WHY ARE YOU PRODUCING MUSIC PHONES?

this is probably the best fone in its category esp considering its price. all other fones with same capabilities come at a very high price. Question: How can i seach for songs by song name? I will be glad 4 any help

to Tiara: for normal uses like texting more often, listening to music, taking pictures etc. tha battery can last a whole day and befor the day ends you should probably need to charge it. but if your just texting it could probably last for 2 to 3 days max. of course more use of the applications means more use on the battery.
hmm disadvantages battery life, and camera is just a simple camera but all in all nokia 5300 music is the best phone i ever had. 2 thumbs up for this phone!

Hey.. i am thinking of buying this phone.. it looks great and the style is so wicked.. i love the red too.. but i wud really like to kno the DISADVANTAGES of this phone.. i want to have this phone for a long time but if its not worth it, pls let me know.. thanx to all..

i have had this phone for 3days now its a rill gud buy for music but can anyone please tell me what video formarts are supported on this phone coz am having a hard time putting on video clips

i had k750i, and moved to 5300. 5300 is much better - LOUD music and BEST quality. Also, with the 5300 you can easily change the menu icons with themes - on k750 you can't do this. The 5300 is much better! Beautiful slider... and the camera is just like 2 mega pixel, the quality is the same as the k750i, I notice NO difference at all.

Now, I can't decide whether I will buy NK 5300 or SE 750i. I really want the one that is worth my money. I am kinda interested in
NK coz it looks good and more modern than SE. I mean SE has basic design. But, I have heard that the sound quality of SE is so gorgeous. OH!! Hard to choose. I like full-function phone with the reasonable price. Ummm!!! plz, help me choose . PLZ...... i am going to buy one on this Saturday.

i have done some tests with this phone using Sony headphones. the sound quality on this mobile 5300 is BETTER than iPod, Walkman and Sony phones. It's loud and has a good equalizer. It's a shame about the battery though

to popoliee: just take good care of it, and dont let it fall in the ground because its not shock resistant hehe. lolz! :D
to Nisha: if youre looking for a camera phone then just buy a n73, n95, or a digicam because nokia 5300 is not build to take pictures, yes it has a camera but its just a simple camera just to capture special moments when you dont have a camera. if you want a camera phone i dont recomment you nokia 5300.
