Meybe it is glue problem. Or it is design problem.

Its a nice phone with good features, BUT WITH A MAJOR DROWBACK. THE KEYS UNGLEW. I work as a salesman in a mobile phone shop and every phone we sold had this problem. I am very disappointed with nokia on this, although i love their phones.

my husband has just bought this phone. he hates it. the writing is to small and he can not hear the person on the other end very well. the volume button on the side does not do anything when we press it. he had a nokia 5210 before and had for seven years. it was great but the screen faded. he has earthmoving business and needed a worksman phone. very hard to find.

this nokia cellphone seems to be nice at the first look, but when you work more, you understand that some options are not as well as it seems ! I prefer N93! I have bought 5500 but I'm going to buy a N95 as soon as it became available !

It does have Synbian. It is a 9.1 S60 3rd edition. Take notice of the pencil key on the side of the telefon

Apparently Nokia have discontinued this phone now. i dont know why. There are a lot of our customers who have 5140i's who consider this as the perfect replacement. What are you doing nokia?!?!

does the phone support series60 3rd edition themes even if its screen is 208x208 pixels unlike others' 176x208? and how many days does the battery charge last (without using music player)? thanks! i'd be glad if you post your reply.

Good to see GSMARENA has updated the spec, while Nokia.co.in has not yet.

And...u cannot close the Sports Mode application even if u want, which is always running in the background. The worst thing is that the sports application always keeps running which occupies phone memory and brings down battery power by the EOD.

I bought my 5500 recently, everything is fine, but i am not able to find the 64MB built-in-memory as specified, it is only 10MB. And the battery backup is too low that i have to charge it everyday, its up to your decision now.
Rest of the things are Ok.I cannot suggest anyone strongly to buy this phone.Do onething, save all the money u can and buy the best phone in the market.

amazing smart phone, built in memory is not 64MB as mentioned in GSMARENA and nokia.co.in
it is only 10MB.Battery back-up is not enough since it has infinite number of features.Audio quality is ok.Since it is ment for sports purpose.
