i think that this phone is not worth to buy...it get's heated up very soon

the only thing the 6233 has over this is 3G and bigger screen. the music player on the 5500 is the same as the 3250. camera is the same on both. this phone is symbian you can do way more with it than the 6233
5300 looks like a glorified 6111

as after i use it for 8 to 10 minutes it gets hotter and hotter .. cant catch it at the ear at hot it will burn, anyone used this phone for over 15 minutes of talk to an hour an more continous at the ear ? doe sit get hott, please tll me guys . . otherwise its an awesome phone the best ever made by nokia

guys guys guys.. its not the worth to buy this phone. In my opinion u can go for 6233. its a good phone. 6233 has good camera good music player good sound quality and one more thing i think 5500 has less features thatn 6233 and is costly than other one

Someone please reply me whether this phone can upgrade memory card or not??? This is very important!!! And also compared this phone with nokia 6233 music edition which one is more worthable???

If keypad gets loose take yor phone back to the shop you have bought the phone and they will change the keypad & metal chassis at the same time without charge. (for free, I mean=))Maybe the first phones manufactured had some material problems?

i've found it to be a good phone for the last two months, but i bought it for my lifestyle, i needed something durable and splash proof, just recently the key pad has come off and leaves the inside bare, proving it not to be durable and not a water resistant as i had hoped. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hey guys
One of ma frnd bought dis recently n i saw it ... apart from the features like tappin the screen n stuff... the screen is too small and the pixels visible !!
In fact the phone after being dropped into a bucket of water still works perfectly except for the fact that the keypad got unstuck !!!
Nyways i wudnt recomend this....
BTW wat do u guys have to say about the new Nokia 5300

a desavantage is the battery. i listen to music 12 out of 24 hours :D and in 3 days max you have to rechard:)

i feel that 5500 can be used rough & tough like 1100, and it has all the features everyone needs in a latest phone. So i think we can go for it.Nothing else matters much.

But the only bummer with this phone is that it doesnt have 3G. What is the difference between 3G and normall internet?

elliot muche better is a 5500 becau it-s small and the soun is great also to speaker is very loud. the 6280 is not so good because it's out of 2 peaces.

can anybody tell me abt the music quality of this phone compare to N-73, which one is better. i am planning to buy a phone and confused between n-73 and 5500. i like 5500 becoz it is small and i want to know only the music quality of this and softwares are working on it or not? pls tell me

this phone is very nice. i just got one yesterday. everything is great at it, one thing is not so good or i don't know yet :D is that the picture that are in the phone can not be put on the computer.( excuse me for my english).
