if you go some where you don't have signall you can"t call 911 but in that areea is wi-fi you can talk on yahooo and ask for help
and this because wlan is gona be almost in all places

this phone is designed for active and sports oriented people.
who will access the internet on wlan while they're doing exercise and sports activities? use your brain!
if this phone doesn't have wlan and if that's what you need, then look for another phone.

wlan?? only lazy people who dont exercise and play sport need that it has bluetooth what is wrong for the 30 seconds the phone needs to syncronize etc to use that? Nokia bring out another water and dust resistant phone and you disrespect it for not having wireless lan that consumes battery life more than any other feature. shame, shame on you :(

Hi, has any one of you tried to use a third party GPS navigation software (like tomtom or wayfinder) on the Nokia 5500? Thanks in advance for the response.

I hope that there is an option to switch the text-to-speech from male voice to sexy lady's voice and vice versa? I think this is a very practical phone that is very suitable for my lifestyle.

Hey guys...i am using this phone for about 2 months and so far i am very pleased with it...though ive got only 2 botherin issues : low volume of the headset and the batt life .
For the first one ive bought one pair of Nokia 3250 headset and now im listening my music the way i always want to... As for the battery life, after a few 12 hours charging cycles , it will become a decent one -I mean 3 days of, mainly, talkin- for 'bout 30 min per day, some sms - not much, i am not such a fan, and , of course, music for about 30 min a day... i dont know if there will be another man content with that but i love now my little finn...

Is the quality of the screen the same as the 6230i (since it has the same resolution) and are pictures taken by the camera seen on the display also compareble to the 6230i?
