the nokia 5500 is quite good it last me about 4 maybe 5 days of standard use i dont know if this helps you

really; i use this phone and i can say it have a very good sound quality..is better than N91!! yes; i have used N91 and the sound in 5500 is compare to SonyEricsson walkman series.
Maybe the keypad is very hard to use , but it is a sport phone.
price in Tunisia 330 euro.

I Work for CPW and had the Nokia Rep in today..
managed to play around with this phone and i must say i am impressed.. i thought it was going to be *&*&% just like the other robust phones but this is way more exciting.. it has MP3 player, Pedometer, all your health stats, bluetooth, Speech Text (this i love - and sounds like steven hawkings.. hahaha) plus loads more.. when using MP3 player you double tap the screen and it plays/stops the music, when playing music if you tap the left and right sides of the handset it skips to next track or skips back a track.. absolute geniuss from nokia, i would like to see this technology in other future handsets..

i think this fone is a joke its completley ugly not worth the price,
if ur thinking ov havin one i wudnt bother!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! its pants had one a week n sold it cheap as chips cus nobody wanted it

comparing to 5140 ,some good things are missing,such as compass ,thermometer and wallet. but it has many additional features such as 2m camera , microSd card (512m included),better display sound and...
i think it worth buying if you like phones of this category(sport).I have buy it in Dubai for 1320 AED (360 USD), and I'm using it in Iran (it is now registerd).

hey i have this phone and its awsome da language for da message reader should be in da memory card dats wat happeened to me i inserted the memory card and it automatically inserted da language ...
it has no disadvantages except da screen is smaller then other symbian phones which i didnt had any problems wid
so in general the phone is awsome

I bought Nokia 5500 a day before. Nice phone. I want to use message reader but it asks for language selection and there is no language available. From where I get the language? Can any 5500 owner help me. Thanks

I work in construction, do you think this phone can take hits from concrete blocks? This is what happened to my 5210 and that was squashed. Can anyone help?

I have the nOKIA 6630, but saw this phone on the nokia website and it seems to have everything, infrared, bluetooth, mp3, expandable memory the list is endless, can anyone who has this phone email me n tell me how happy they are withit, does it have wma support??? :) Fanx
