I have been using this phone since 3 months, the phone heats up alot when i use the internet or while listening to the music !!
the battery life is very poor too !!!
is anybody else facing this problem !?

Yes.. I agree with you.. Saving location as Memory card slows down the whole SMS procedure a bit.. If you think you can't tolerate that, then you may continue to use the phone memory instead... The main problem is, let's say you've got more than like 500 SMS in your inbox and sent folders, you may forget there may be bluetooth messages too.. (Which have larger files sizes...) and you may not notice and you will not like to discover the whole SMS lot for it either..
To avoid that to happen, I use my memory card as the saving location though it's bit slow..
I just found out another great trick to increase phone memory... Just uninstall 'OVI store' and download OVI applications from Mozilla Firefox with OVI addon.. (Search google by entering 'Download OVI apps using firefox' there are several methods..)
Only removing OVI store application, I gained 3 MB free space in my phone memory... (Now I've got 46 MB free phone memory left...! even with more than 100 third party applications...!)

i have noticed that if i use my memory card as a default saving location for messages i feel like its a bit slower i don't know if its okay or it still better to use my memory card but i still use phone memory..
i know it's not a big issue but any one experienced the same thing?

i was not able to proceed to my hacking last night because my mom was using my computer last night talking with my paps...
fortunately i am not too busy now in the office so i have plenty of time to review all these notes that i have here.. so im trying to gather information that should help me before and after hacking buddy..

Unless you don't Hard Reset your mobile Before or After the update, of course you can go on with the firmware update without loosing 'hacking'
So be careful not to hard reset and that's all...
By the way, the firmware update you meant is V 31.. Right...? (As far as I know, that's the latest...)

HELP !!!
I've purchased this phone 10 days back with bill and warranty for 9650/- and suddenly the GREEN CALLING KEY isn't working. I took it to the retailer he said that I need to take this phone to the Nokia Care. I took it to Nokia Care and after repair the GREEN KEY is working fine but there's no touch voibrate in this particular button only (rest key get the vibrate). But today I got the vibration sensor on this GREEN Button too. I'm really fed up this sudden fault of the phone. N I REALLY NEED AN ADVICE FROM SOMEONE !!!
PS:- I've asked for a replacement phone but NOKIA isn't giving me one.
Any help much appreciated ! Thanks in anticipation.

There is new software update available (Post 3.0). Has anyone installed it. My phone is Hacked and using the 3.0 version (thanx Nuwan for the hacking steps). Now I want to know can I go ahead and install the latest update on my hacked phone or not.....

If you're using a Video converter with Compression codec then the size will be reduced... Otherwise it'll not.. Try to change your codec settings... (Already compressed videos may not be able to further compressed you know....)
