one more thing brother nuwan, i bought my nokia 5530 brandnew with the firmware of V20. but i installed v30. whats with the hacked? did i installed the wrong firmware?

Hacking gives you the freedom of making use of full potential of your Symbian Smart mobile.. (That's the simplest brief for it..)
** It'll enable you to install any symbian application in your mobile without getting the error messages 'Certificate error' or 'Certificate has been expired' etc.. (If you ask someone who's getting this error message each time he/she wants to install the favorite applications of his/hers... How desperate & frustrated he/she feels...)
** You can view, explore and edit hidden/protected files (specially system files of Symbian) without any restrictions... (Only if you want to..)
** With RomPatcher patches you can obtain wonderful things.. Let me give you few examples..
Call Recording without Beep and without any disturbances..
Remove the camera shutter sound when taking photos
Increasing the call log up to 1 year instead of default 1 month
Increase/decrease the typing speed when typing SMS.. (short multi tap or long multi tap)
and much much more...
** Actually when you get used with your device.. When you want more and more applications to be installed in your device.. then only you'll realize the importance of 'Hacking'

Yeah.. I think I remember you... Glad to see you here again...
As you said, Skyfire has stopped its service... I don't know what's going on with it... May be legal issues or something... Now I've moved back to Opera mobile which was always good overall..
Regarding flash files, I suggest you to use 'Digia Web' browser... It also support 'Java Script' well... Regarding flash files it's not as great as Skyfire but better than Opera... and pretty solid too.. Skyfire eats lots of RAM but Digia Web doesn't... You can download it from dotsis..
Yeah... Dotsis has cracked versions of NetQin anti Virus as well as NetQin mobile guard... (I strongly suggest those two applications to you...)
And don't forget to install followings too..
* TTPod Music player 3.70 (New Version)
* Widgetizer 1.04
* RAMblow
* Quick Office & adobe reader
* MSDict 7 (Oxford English Dictionary)
* Resco Photo viewer
* SPB Brain Evolution 2.01 (New Version)
* FlipFont
All above software applications (cracked versions of course..!) are in dotsis under S60V5 section...

You're very lucky to have a brand new 5530 with V 20 installed...! Do NOT update your firmware until it's hacked... (Otherwise you'll regret so badly..)
I can't give you full instruction set with links because GSMarena now doesn't allow us to provide any link what so ever... (Ridiculous...!)
So you'll have lot of home work... OK..? (But none of them are complicated.. It's just you're new to the thing and you'll feel there is lot to do.. That's it...)
1) First obtain the IMIE no of your 5530...
2) Then go to following site and register there.. and give them your IMIE no and other details asked..
(Remove the spaces of the link then it'll work...)

3) After 48 hours log in to your account in opda (above site) and download the certificate file and key file. (They prepare those two files based on the IMEI no you gave, which relevant to your phone.. and of course for free)
4) Download helloOX2 from their original website (search google) and download the sign tool from 'OPDA' site (You will see the download links when you logged on..)
5) Sign your HelloOX2 using the sign tool, key file and certificate file you have now... (You should do it in your computer)
6) Install Signed HelloOX2 in your mobile and press OK to every asking question...
DONE...!
Above whole process will not take more than 3 minutes (except the waiting time of 48 hours in OPDA site..) so it's very simple even though there are steps..
Please google for more details..
After hacking.. You can update your firmware to V31 without any problem... and if you don't hard reset your mobile then hacking will be remained as it was...

hi bros..nuwan and jett..hope u remember me..i've bought this marvelous device about 2 months ago and i am more than pleased.i've encountered several probs but i've solved them completly ..i'm using lcg jukebox ..free signer..opera mobile..nimbuzz and more..byt there 's still 2 probs ..skyfire the excellent flash supporting browser has stopped working and i need a way to get free netqin ..is there any cracked versions on dotsis....btw i'm now posting through my phone and i'm more than satisfied..ty nuwan .u've been a great help

I'm using xm5530 for 7 months now.Everything running smooth.Its a good phone with affordable prize.Symbian is a bit slow cos of the lower specs.
No idea why people are complaining about this phone.Bare in mind that every electronic devices,there's a 1-3% defect rate.And in Malaysia,we have original and AP mobile phones.AP is cheaper than original about 100-200 ringgit.
If you buy an AP phones than there will be problems
with the phones.Go for Original phone,should be fine.
If want a faster phone,buy a higher specs phone.Don't buy phones online,you may get the AP phones.Cheers.

By looking at the Audio test results of both 5130 & 5530, we can't say this is superior in Music Quality compared to that... BUT.. Nobody can compare these two phones what so ever..
5530 is a Smart symbian mobile and you can install 3rd party Music players and gain the perfect Audio quality you want...
But 5130 is a basic S40 device where you have to satisfactory with the default Music player only..
So the choice is yours.. If you're someone who's not going to install anything.. and you're not looking for a smart mobile... So you should have gone to 5130..
But if you're a Smart Symbian lover who will not be satisfactory about mobile the way they are... If you want to go beyond and customize and all... then 5530 is for you...
At last I want to mention this; I have installed Power MP3, LCG Jukebox, 360ting and TTPod 3.70 as 3rd party Music Players in my 5530 and I don't think 5130 default Nokia player can defeat the 5530 Music quality wise when I play music using those applications.. That's how Symbian Smart works...!

Now regarding your queries...
Yes... You must install 'RAMblow'
and in order to see the start up entries and to be able to disable them as you wish,
You should have,
NetQin Anti Virus software in your mobile...
BUT...
Remember to install them from dotsis... Not from any other website... If you go to the original web sites then you'll have to pay for the applications... (If you can do it, then it's great) Otherwise you may use cracked versions in dotsis & those work fine for me...
I think you already are a dotsis member... (You must register there in order to download stuff)
When you open the NetQin anti virus, you will see this 'Boot acceleration' feature and you can disable unwanted start up entries from there... (Those entries will be shown by application name, So if you want them to run at start up, then you may let them be, otherwise you can disable them..)
(Disable means it only disables the opening at start up.. You can open the application any time later...)
So don't worry to make use of that feature...
One more thing... First of all, please check your firmware.. If it's V 20 or below then you're very lucky... Because you can hack your mobile... (You have the instructions... right...?)
If you have the firmware versions V 30 or V 31, then you can't hack your mobile... You will have to sign applications before installing... (Signing 'helloOX2' in hacking instructions is the way of signing any application...)

As far as I know, there is no Symbian Smart mobile which supports smileys... So you don't have to point finger at 5530.. It's same for N97, N95, N86, 5800 bla bla... They all don't support smileys...
I know it's ridiculous... But Nokia hasn't yet taken this simple matter in to their account... May be in Symbian 3 in N8, this will be fixed...
