do any one here know how long wil it tak all the region codes get the latest firmware update....my region code is 0590822 wen i try to update it stil say there r no updates ..nd my firmware is v20 nd i am wilin to upade it to da latest version v30 .... plz any one help me out with dis...:)

@nuwan is it necessary to hack your phone?
not hacking your phone would be like marriage without sex, nada.n alternative to hacking your phone is getting yourself a FREE SIGNER application.
Purpose of hacking your phone is be able to install all applications for ur phone coz some apps need to be signed.
For newbies here's how you hack ur phone.google helloox2 and download.go to --cer.opda.com. Register and apply for a certificate.. Tell you what just go to that site and you will find clear instructions.when you have signed - helloox2 install it in your phone and after,viola! Ur phones hacked and be able to install apps w out a fuzz

Anybody plzz help me......After updating my 5530 to v30..and when i opened all songs...no songs are there...
i refreshed the library...created new playlist...still nothing is there...... actually the songs are there in the memory card ...but they are not appearing in all songs ..... anybodys help will be appreciated ...

I am planning to update the software to V30. I have hacked the phone with HelloX and Rom Patcher. I would like to know what will happen after I will date the software and do I have to unhack the phone before I update or will the hellox and Rom patcher will stop workng after the update. Please let me know.

Is it really advisable to hack Nokia 5530...? That's a really tricky question... First let me tell you this..
There is no single doubt... Hacking will brighten your mobile and make it a fantastic piece of brain...
BUT, only if you know how to make use of it...
So I would say,
Hacking is advisable for the people who are very curious and want to discover more and more.. Want to have more and more... and also Keen to have more and more... For them, Hacking is very very advisable...
But for those who will be satisfactory with ready made things.. and don't want more complex steps to follow.. for them hacking is not that advisable...
Now you see... It really depends upon who you are...
If I take an example..
If you do landscaping in your newly bought Garden (which is initially not that beautiful) then you can build your own beautiful garden with lots of features and plantation... (Just the way you want it..)
But if you don't want to face that complications and if you're ok with the initial garden though it's not that beautiful then you shouldn't really do the landscaping... (Though it'll bring you a more beautiful garden, just because you don't want more trouble and extra work, you will stay with the ugly initial garden...)
Now you can compare it with hacking.. If you hack your mobile then your mobile will be just like a well landscaped Garden.. (But only if you're that type of a person...)

Any Wifi mobile could gain a very high temperature when you use Wifi function... Because it needs more power... That is normal... You don't have to switch off the phone.. Just stop wifi usage and let it be cool by itself..
I have described what is 'Phone Hacking' so many times before.. Could you please google or use the search function of this same website.. You'll definitely find the answers...

Yeah... V 30 is still unhackable and it won't be hackable anytime soon...
Even though it's possible to go back to the previous version, it's a very complicated task... and a risky one too... It's always advisable to stay with the current update..
If you face error messages like 'Certificate expired' when installing applications, that's because those applications are not 'Signed' to your mobile.. If your mobile is Hacked, then you'll not face such error messages anymore... Or else, you can 'Sign' all those application before installing... (That's bit time consuming than hacking...) As your mobile is already updated to V 30, there is no use of talking about 'hacking' now... You may try to sign the applications.. Please google for more information about 'signing applications for Symbian smart mobiles'

Remove the memory card and then try to start the mobile...
After starting you can put the memory card back...
If that doesn't help then you better go to the place where you bought the phone...
'Hacking' wouldn't void the warranty according to my knowledge because it's just a software procedure which can be undone anytime you want..

Ghaith, 20 Jun 2010where i can install facebook application to my nokia 5530facebook mobile is already installed in the phone. But if you really want to "feel" using facebook on a desktop.. try using Skyfire. It can also play some flash games unlike the default Nokia browser... even if you have upgraded to v30.

Amin, 22 Jun 2010I am using 5530 for about 7-8 months, now for the first tim... moretry the unbarring option. Experienced this once, i have no idea but some themes sets this option on. Check the barring status first. :) Hope this works.

can any one help.. i just acquire my nokia 5530 last month.. my sister got it from singapore and presently im in africa.. when i start to operate it, it said it needs microsoft update.. here in madagascar africa there no nokia service center.. hope someone could help me.. thanks
