That problem can occur if you've installed too many applications in your mobile.. Actually there are one or several software of your mobile have some start up procedures (Just like 'start up entries' of windows PCs..)and those entries are taking too much than the phone can bear...
I also faced the same problem and I could fix that by uninstalling several suspicious programs and disabling the start up entries of certain software... (Often you can decide whether any specific software should work at start up or not.. There should be an option for such software..)
One more thing... Did you say that you did hard reset your mobile recently...?
Well.. Are you sure you followed all my instructions regarding 'hard reset'?
I guess not...
After a hard reset you shouldn't use the same old memory card (I mean the data) in your mobile.. You MUST format your memory card and then use it with hard reset mobile.. The best thing is, you should have a list of software that you've installed.. Then you may format the memory card... then hard reset the phone.. And lastly install the software you had before... one by one.. You can make use of the list you saved... (Backing up the most useful software is always recommended...!)
When you don't format your memory card and you use it with a hard reset mobile... Then the thing you said must happen.. Simple reason is this.. Even though you install a software in memory card, it also contains some small file in your phone memory too.. That small file also needs when running the software..
After a hard reset you loose all the data in your phone memory.. But when you insert your memory card with previous data (and software) those software search for the small parts of them in phone memory... Specially when phone starts they do this search and when they couldn't find it, phone simply hangs...!
Thant is it... Simple as that..
So you better format your memory card.. And then again hard reset your mobile... And install the applications again from the beginning... This should solve all your problems...

i am a boy from romania and i've seen nokia 5530.is a very cool phone with a touchscreen display and a very good sound.i am fascinated by 5530's design and performance and next week i want to go at the shop and buy it!!!!

my nokia 5530xpress music is giving me problems......it can decide to go off anytime i recieve a call for atleast three weeks and decide to function properly after sometime..

very good phone! the smallest s60 v5. - fast and responsive too! it has all the feature but only one problem.... no 3G thats all.

hey nuwan,
i've been wanting to ask u about this problem that i've encountered recently after i do a hard reset on my phone cause its getting slower.. after i've done that.. when i on the phone.. it installs back all my applications... it took super duper long.. and i just cant wait anymore... so i switched off my phone.. and remove the memory card instead then i start it back.. then it didnt pop out anything requesting to install already.. but the problem that i wanna let u know is... right now since then when i switched off my phone.. and i turn it on back.. it will stuck in white screen... and only way to start up my phone is to remove the battery and pull out the memory card.. and then start the phone without memory card input... after that only i put my memory card back...
how do i fix it..? need ur help nuwan...

And it's stylus is much better held in the phone than nokia 5800/5230 (it rarely ever falls)

I Have a nokia 5800 xm and i've been using it for the last 5 months. Today i've seen nokia 5530 and i think that althought it doesn't have 3G services and GPS support it steel better than nokia 5800 in several ways: it's smaller, it's lighter, all of his buttons are touch, other than this both phones have basically the same specifications and program inside, but the 5530 was released almost a year after the 5800 so it's gotta be improved, it is steel - nokia.
Aniway i've decided that i'm going to trade my 5800 for the newer 5530 and that's final (Nokia 5230 doesn't have wireless), althought i had a hard time deciding whether i want this phone or 5730, but i think i'll go with this one.

Hey guys i've been thinking to buy a phone as an alternative to buying a laptop reason being the portability cost effective and that being a doctor i have to browse net OTA over the air so please ones who own this set could specify me if this phone has a document viewer or can it be downloaded as i have to view documents in ppt doc xls and pdf! Also has it got the hanging problem? How's the browsing speed on edge and wlan? And can it support opera mini like browser? And most importantly i've to listen and watch my lectures so can anyone tell me if this phone has a good video player with clarity and a zoom in option during video playback? I'm looking for a phone till the range of nokia 5800 but i couldn't make up my mind to buy that phone after reading numerous reviews that 5800 doesn't have a document viewer! Is this true? Btw i'd also like to know if this phone has kinetic scrolling? I'll be more then glad and obliged if someone using this phone could reply me specifically for my Qs! Thanks a whole lot

Well... I think they've removed the 'sign tool' from their server...
Yeah... You're right on helloOX2... You have to take the sis file of course... But you will have to sign it of course...
If you can't find this sign tool, then you can go to the same web site that you downloaded these .cer and .key files and sign your helloOX2 directly... Or else you can even download the sign tool from that web site... As I remember, when you log on, below the .key and .cer files you can see the links to download the sign tool...
