Last night i went to a nokia shop here in dubai to buy the fone but still ot of stock.My kabayan told me that it's been 2 months that they don't have stock of this unit and he's also saying that they might already stop producing because they will launch a new one.He said that, that's the strategy of nokia when they about to lunch a new model.But i don't believe him,because this model is new,let's say less than 1 year onlr in circulation...am i right brother?
Hopefully,in few weeks i can buy this fone beacause i want to enjoy it's capabilities.One saleslady even told me to buy samsung star wifi but i said straight to her that i want a smartphone,she kept on saying it is also a smartphone but i don't need to argue with her.I told her that i will just come back when they already have the unit.

Not really... It won't improve the performance... The phone will be just like before as for the performance...
But there will be no more restrictions when you're installing software... (No certificate errors, No update errors, No certificate expire errors etc...)
So that you can install anything you want... You have the full freedom... But you must use that freedom very carefully...

but 5530 XM doesnt support 3G, which is getting quite popular these days because of high speed networking.

5530_user, 03 May 2010i need some advice from other 5530xm users, should i update... moreu should update ur phone firmware. u can hack it after update as well. i've done it successfully and it works much better, faster and more stable after update. goodluck

Hi all,
Big problem in my phone memory there are some files named others which are 40mb and i dont kknow how to delete them where to find them. i checked them in installed apps. its not there. please help me to delete these files so that i can get back my phone memory same in the case of memory card also pls help...

vinodh, 01 May 2010Go for NOKIA 5800 it had all things. NOKIA new touch series... moreIts recent software v50 has 50+ known bug. Its laggy, phone restarts several times, and most importantly, 5800, the phone model itself is 2 years old and very common in market. Who will buy 5800 over 5530? At least I am not! Even for those who require 3G, there are several new options available now at less or more price range like 5230/C6/N97 Mini etc.
