Does the XpressMusic button on the top right-corner of the phone glows ,i mean is there any light below it indicating that it is a button as in Nokia 5800?

But the mdr-e12lp c0st a lot cheaper,and c0mes with a better bass without sacrificing mid t0nes. . But loses the rubber in-ear design,but in exchange in a smaller plastic in-ear,meaning it is still in ear but unadjustable,so it does n0t guarantee noise isolati0n. . So your ch0ice. .

5530issue, 30 Apr 2010my phone will not turn on now? when charger is plugged in i... moreI also faced the same problem a month ago. I removed the batter for about 15 min and put it back but still it didn't work. Then i removed the memory card but still the phone vibrated while pressing the power button but doesn't start at all.
I had faced this problem after trying to update to v20 usin NSU. But to my suprise the update was successful but still it didn't work. So i showed the mobile to the Nokia Care Center and in reply they said that the handset was damaged. As a result they replaced in with a new one.
So my suggestion to you is that go to the nokia care center and show your mobile to them.

It's really strange why your phone memory ha... morethanks for the reply man. i appreciate that. by the way i have not transferred any file from bluetooth and haven't installed/removed any app/themes for nearly a month now. and the internal memory is still changing. yesterday afternoon it was 43.5mb and right now 47.6mb. i'm sure about it but some of the internal memory are being used as ram??? may be.like pag file in computer. anyway not bad.
and i totally agree with u on nokia's apps being installed on internal memory without asking us where to install it. app like ovi maps which take huge chunks of internal memory should be installed on memory card not in internal memory card. it takes about 10mb of internal memory i think. so nokia should really think about this.

i'm really surprised to see too many complain about this phone lately. i'm using this for around 5 months now i've never faced any problem on it especially after firmware update. it is certainly by far best mobile phone i've ever used. i was using N82 before this for about 2 years that was too awesome phone. i never had any problem with that as well.i wanted to use touchscreen phone so i sold N82 for this 5530 and i don't have any regret about it.
@Django saying that its sound quality is very poor, sounded like a transistor radio. how can u say that i'm not sure. this is xpressmusic flagship mobile form nokia and is one of the best music quality phone from nokia. u can check gsmarena review for this as well. i really recommend u to update ur phone firmware & see the result for ur self.
and i must comment on @plizar view. in his own words "software included:very poor. Other nokia less expensive phones have best software (agenda, alarm and so on). Very bad connectivity to the mobile network, very poor the sound quality. Good the wireless.

what is that? helloo excuse me!!!!! this is SMART PHONE. there are thousand and thousand of free/shareware application out there which can be downloaded. by the way the "softwares" ur talking about like alarm and agenda are there if u have checked ur mobile. this features are available even on basic nokia mobile like nokia 1100.

Go to Menu - Settings - Personal - Profiles - (Select the profile you're using now.. And click options and select - Personalize)
You'll see a plenty of customizations there... Select the level you want in 'Key tone' feature... (either level 1, level 2 or level 3) and save it.. That'll solve your problem...
