However automatic internet usage without your knowledge can be stopped by installing a good firewall to your mobile... I Have kaspersky mobile security and it blocks unnecessary internet usage perfectly...

D_5530, 15 Apr 2010Hi Nuwan, thanks, I have successfully installed the screen ... moreDear D_5530,
That's great brother... I'm happy you made it after all..
However you can't do that for each and every software... For an example in order to install cracked version of Kaspersky mobile anti virus, you must hack your mobile.. (For cracked versions of 'Quick Office' and 'Adobe Reader' also you need your phone hacked..) Uploading the above software and crack and get the signed copies wouldn't help you in that case..
But still you can do this 'signing' thing and install lots of software in your phone... If you are not satisfactory with 'lots of software' and if you want to install 'all software' instead of 'lots of them' then you'll have to hack your mobile...
You get what I'm saying.. Right...?

talha, 14 Apr 2010hi guys. I m using this phone for about 2 months and everyt... moreDear talha,
I'm sorry about your trouble... but I can assure you (as a mobile internet user) my 5530 doesn't have any problem when browsing... I use following browsers... (I list them below with briefs..)
1) Opera mobile (Overall Best, very reliable, nice interface) Cons: Doesn't fully support for Java script and flash
2) Default browser (Pretty stable... But it doesn't have a nice interface or features like other browsers..)
3) Skifire (Eats phone RAM memory a lot.. So it's normal that you'll get 'not enough memory' error for this software... But, it supports flash contents perfectly... Almost any heavy flash website can be viewed using this mobile browser...)
4) UCbrowser (Very less memory consumption, pretty fast and solid... Simple interface... but not for complex works..)
5) Digia Web (Very cool interface... Very good flash & Java Script support... Can view any web site just like computer does... No memory errors like Skifire either... So I'm getting to like this software over Opera mobile now...!)
So dear friend... I'm telling you again... I'm surfing internet through my mobile and have never faced such a trouble as you did... I usually use Opera mobile (Since few months ago) and Digia Web (Since last month) and they work pretty reliable for me..
I can assume only one reason for the problem you're facing... You may be using the old firmware on your mobile still... Please check your firmware first of all... If it's not version 20.0.080 (as I remember), then the problem is with that.. You MUST update your firmware in order to get rid of those errors... One more thing.. Are you sure you're using Opera mobile and not Opera mini..? (Because opera mini is for ordinary phones... Opera mobiles for smart phones like 5530...) And just like my friend Cyber-shot under dog says, you should make sure you have the latest version of Opera mobile... (i.e. Opera mobile 10 final release)
Hope this will help... Good luck friend...

shabana, 14 Apr 2010hey guys.. i bought the phone today its really cool... ppl ... moreDear shabana,
Don't remove the Screen protector sticker on your mobile... Because this phones screen is not a scratch resistive one so you'll regret when it gets scratches later...
If you've already removed it, buy a pack of Screen protector stickers from Ebay... They arey very cheap and are made as suited to 5530 screen exactly... Search for 'Nokia 5530 screen protector' in ebay...

Sameer, 14 Apr 2010Dear Nuwan,
I read in some user opinions of 5800 users t... moreDear Sameer,
I'm replying both of your posts here...
Music quality in both 5800 and 5530 rocks.. Actually both phones are very very competitive to one another..
If you prefer loudness than the sound quality, then you better go with 5800 because I get the feeling that it has bit louder sound...
But, if you prefer crystal clear stereo sound out put, then you better go for 5530... Because Stereo cross talk in 5530 is way better than that of 5800...
(For more information, please refer the Music quality test results of both 5800 and 5530 in GSMarena site...)
Well... I am not a 5800 user, so I really can't comment on its issues.. I can only say this.. Nokia mobiles always have several firmware updates and with final updates you'll get the best reliable phone.. Some people don't realize this, and stay with the firmware which they had at first without updating it... As a result of that, They have so many bugs and faults of their firmware and then complain that the phone sucks...! So I'm pretty sure, most of complaints against Nokia 5800 are from the users who have not updated their firmware...
Similarly, Nokia 5530 also restarted a lot and there were so many bugs with its previous firmware versions... Now I have the final release (final release at the moment..) that is version 20 and it is very very solid and reliable... Almost all the bugs have been fixed and there are no more hangings, restarts etc.. (Even after I've installed more than 200 applications in it, still it's pretty solid..!)
So if you go for 5800, you make sure it has the latest firmware version (V 40) or if you go for 5530 you make sure it has its latest (V 20)... In that case you won't have any problems...
Yeah... My brother Cyber-shot under dog is always correct... Indeed he knows better than be about that sort of stuff because he himself is a mobile phone dealer... (Yeah... New Nokia 5530s have that back cover shaking problem fixed... So don't worry...)
