sicnarf, 06 Apr 2010nuwan, how can i hide files/folders to my 5530??? tnx i... moreDear sicnarf,

If you want to hide things from the "Gallery" then install "Y-Browser" or "X-Plore" and use those software to access system folders... (Eg: 'system' in "E") and hide what you want to hide there by simply creating a folder there and putting the files you want to hide in that particular folder...

But those files are not really password protected or anything... They're just hidden because they've been hidden in system folder...

If you want to keep your files password protected then there are plenty of software for that...
Please search in www.dotsis.com for such security software... (You'll have to hack your mobile in order to install most of those software...)

                              new 5530, 05 Apr 2010i sold it 2 days ago it, version 10instead of 11 or 20 how ... moreDear new 5530,

If you're still using firmware version 10, then I strongly recommend you to update your firmware to version 20 as soon as possible...

It's very easy... If you have a reliable wifi internet connection, then you can do it even without connecting the mobile to the Computer... (Menu - Settings - Phone - Phone Management - Device updates then click 'Options' pop up menu and 'Check for updates')

Or else you can use 'Nokia software updater' which you can download from Nokia Original website and connect your mobile to the computer using the data cable and do the firmware update...

But before you're doing either of above, you better read the manual and take all the safety precautions... Please google for more information..

If you're not sure of what you're doing then you better go to the nearest Nokia care center and they'll probably do the firmware update for you...

Yeah... I think if you do either soft reset or hard reset, in either case, you'll have to hack your mobile once again..

Because as I've told before, 'Hacking' is just a software installation which is not permanent what so ever... Once you reset your mobile all the 3rd party software installations will go away and it'll restore the factory settings... In that case, you'll have to hack the mobile again...

But you can still use the same signed copy of HelloOX2 which you used before...

Yeah.. You're right.. It's bit rattling compared to that of Nokia 5800 Xpress Music... But don't worry.. That's normal.. At least my one also is the same and I've not faced any trouble with that except for the feeling I have that it'll loosen anytime... (But surely it won't...!)

                                        six_stringers, 05 Apr 2010Dear Nuwan, I have a question Bro.I've experienced copyi... moreDear six_stringers,

First I want to know what is the player you use for playing videos in your mobile... Because SmartMovie (which can play converted AVI files etc...) and UCPlayer (Which can play ALMOST all the video files types even without any conversion) both above players play high quality video files with a delay in video... In UCPlayer this is worst as both Audio and Video don't go continuously..

But with the default real player, this mobile can play wide screen very good quality videos (but has to be converted to *.mp4 format) without any delay or anything similar...

What I suppose is, may be you are using a player which is not real player... Or else, you may be using non-converted video files which are not very compatible with the mobile...

So my suggestion is, always convert your videos to *.mp4 format and always watch them using Real Player which is highly compatible with the mobile so far...
