The symbian countdown has already ended with the announcement of symbian platform as opensource and free..
Lastly dude refer to me as 'kkkabirkkk' not 'bird' , it's actually 'kabir' with 2k in the begining and 3k at the end..

User1992, 08 Feb 2010DO you all think 5530 or 5800 is better? 5800 will lag? 553... moreyes you can,i upgrade the firmware of my nokia 5530 and it has ovi maps installed,now to use these free service from nokia on 5530 you need to connect to the net thru wifi or edge to load the data of the map of yor location.

it's just like a 5800,but it doesn't have all the features of it.and the headset of 5530 doesn't have connector

Or you can do it on your phone directly also using xplore file brower or using separate app with rar plugin like winRar (or something like that i don't remember the name)..

I deleted all the SIM messages by going to Menu > Messaging > Options > SIM Messages.

skud, 07 Feb 2010you might have an incoming mms message but your phone canno... moreThere is no incoming mms. It only happens with a particular service provider SIM (Vodafone). There is no blinking sms envelop with other service provider SIM.
Is this something to do with the capacity of the the SIM?
FYI.. Both the SIMs does not have anything in them.

Santo, 06 Feb 2010@Nuwan There is a blinking message envelope at the top rig... moreyou might have an incoming mms message but your phone cannot retrieve this message its the same thing happens when you send mms message because it take some time to send and recieve since it has a multimedia content like photos and audio or videos

There is a blinking message envelope at the top right hand corner that says SIM full when opened. There are no contacts or messages in the SIM. This only happens with Vodafone SIM and not with the Tatadocomo SIM. Any idea how to get rid of this blinking message envelop?
