Actually for your issues here are the straight and honest answers...
1) Restart problem has been fixed by the firmware update. (Before that phone restarted at least once a day but now NEVER...!)
2) I really don't have any idea about this loose back cover issue.. My phone (made in Hungary) doesn't really have that problem at all... Also it doesn't have that so called rubber part either...! Actually there is a small vibration when you tap on touch screen just to notify your response, may be people have misunderstood as it's a loose connection of the back cover... (I disabled that unnecessary vibration alert and now there's no wobbling at all...!) Please give us more details about this back cover problem...

@Angelica - I recommend to you that you use WLAN Connection than GPRS Connection. Just go to a WiFi zone (Called Hotspot) Like McDonalds or SM malls. They have free wi-fi connection. GPRS decreases my prepaid load. So I don't use GPRS. WiFi is better and fast to browse than GPRS.
@Nuwan - Where can i download the Youtube App where can I watch HD and HQ videos? The default youtube app inside my phone is not good. Poor video quality D:

The data and cookies saved after browsing also consumes some memory. You will be surprised to get almost 10MB or more of phone memory just by doing that.

okay so i'm thinking of buying this phone..the review tells us pretty much everything but i needed to know two silly little things:
1. does it have an unlimited sms memory?
2. is there any type of security lock on this phone?
i haven't used a nokia since 2100 so sorry for the silly questions. =)

Hey guys, I'm torn between buying the 5530 or 5800 currently due to the fact that 5530 has kinetic scrolling, better homescreen and more stylish as compared to the 5800 plus I don't really use the 3G or GPS. Do you guys think that Nokia will come out with a firmware update that will consist of kinetic scrolling and better homescreen? Coz they do then I don't mind waiting for it...which is a better buy and worth for money in the long run? HELP!

Bought it for RM980.00 looks pretty good and slim enough. Touch works well and includes a stick if ya dun wanna use your hand. Shortcut keys of old nokia series works on keypad. Just hope this will last for next 6 months... worth for the money as it has wifi but no 3G ;)

Ovi is saving it at the phone memory damn man. . . ok ok got it my current phone memory is 40.0mb no my inbox only has contained 50 msgs, my sent items with 67, drafts 1, so it can't be possibly be in the messages. But since I updated new applications were introduced so maybe, what you told me made sense, thanks Nuwan. Planning to buy Bose earphones for this

Did you try searching in yo... moreI think its npt only to u ,it also happened to me.I downloaded applications & they asked whether to install.When i refused them,i was not able to find them.Only after refreshing the phonememory from nokiacare.I think it is a 5530's software fault & should be solved by nokia.
Also guys if u get any divx/avi player please give the link.Well wishes to all.

I am expecting these issues will be there, like automatic restarts ( am fine as long as it isnt frequent and thank god its restart and not shutdown ) Battery cover, someone commented that the new units come with a rubber pad stuck on the inner side for the spacing problem. Not sure thought. I need the phone.. thats all.. not worried about other probs.
