i got this phone 4 days ago, so far the touch screen in is for me 8/10. the accelerometer is 6/10. speakers, music, 10/10. wifi is also 10/10, txting 9/10. durability so far, 10/10 (i already dropped it) but no probs!the phone itself as a whole is 9/10! ty

connect the phone to the pc then install nokia pc suite the choose backup

hi!I'm planning to buy this phone in like a few days. But i'm having second thoughts regarding the touch screen. Can you guys advice with your experiences with the phone. Is it like very delicate. Does i give problems??

@SUJITH - the hard reset is restoring factory settings, it wipes everything on your phone's memmory. It doesn't harm the pfone, but do a back-up first, so after u hard reset it, u can copy all your contacts, messages etc to it back again.
they've removed the "download" folder and replaced it with ovi, there are ovi maps, ovi positioning (or smth like that). the phone switches very fast now from landscape to portrait and viceversa.

im currently using this phone and it has been 3 months.as a user,the phone functionality is pretty good.my music player consist of 7 hours and my bf is using the same phone and his songs adds up to 21 hours but it still doesnt lag so all in all,i'd rate 4/5 for this phone.minus one for the flash is super bright!

i got my phone with a price of 889 Qatar riyals so its almost 11,300 unlike here when u go to rob galleria or other nokia store this phone price 11,600 - 13,000 the advantages of getting phone from other country especially in middle east is u got a high quality batt and phone unlike the other is came from china...

Got mine in like-new... morehi there, I have tried updating to v20 firmware but it gives me configuration error with nokia update software and internal error with pc suite. I tried updating with phone and it says I have the current version(v11). Can you pls help cos I really need the new firmware. Thanks

^_^ and here is a method of changing fonts without the use of ANY application.. :)
just follow the steps given:
1.if you have any font and want use in your phone, you must rename fonts in 4 shape :
s60snr.ttf
s60ssb.ttf
s60tsb.ttf
S60ZDIGI.ttf
2.now follow this steps :
1-connect to pc by usb & choose mass strong.
2-go to (E:\Resource\Fonts)
-->there is no fonts folder so you have to make a new folder and name it Fonts
3-copy :
s60snr.ttf
s60ssb.ttf
s60tsb.ttf
S60ZDIGI.ttf
to Fonts folder.
4-restart your phone and enjoy it.

Very cool, cheap yet featureful phone. Got mine in like-new condition for 175 usd on eBay. The EDGE32 is fasssst on opera mini/mobile. On it now posting this. The v20 firmware was mainly a stability increase. It's awesome.

hi guys, I've had my illuvial 5530 for like a week now and its awesome. I installed Quick office and adobe reader and am okay. my only problem is with update. I have v11 and cant update to v20. Nokia updater says configuration error and ovi suite says internal error. Updating via the phone also says my software (v11) is up to date. what do i do? I really need the new update badly!!

I heard many abo... moreyeah a lot is told about this phone both as a good one and for the multiple really annoying bugs. so im wondering whether the software v20 got all bugs fixed bacause if the problems in v11 are still present, i wont buy it for i would go crazy just trying to make the phone work after a few weeks
