To those who are waiting for this phone in india here i have some news. Im from chennai and i enquired 6 nokia priority showrooms in chennai via telephone. Please see the below for the answers i received..
showroom 1.) not yet launched. no idea of launching date.
showroom 2.) not yet launched. no idea of launching date.
showroom 3.) not yet launched. will be launched in 10 days.
showroom 4.) not yet launched. will be launched in 10 days.
showroom 5.) not yet launched. no idea of launching date.
showroom 6.) not yet launched. will take one month to launch.
I couldnt remember which branch gave which answer so i have just put that in serial numbers.
I wonder why there is much confusion among the NPD itself.

hi, can anyone tell me which is better? this samsung preston, nokia 5800xm or nokia 5530xm??
and may i ask which brand of mobile phone is generally the best, is it s.ericson?lg?samsung?or nokia?

Hey frNdS TiS pHoNE looKS GREAT...!!! Ppl r watin 2 buy tis phone n even I.....WeLL design n LooKS wise its far more better than 5800 xm.....just 2 check out how good it is i tried 2 compare tis phone wid 5800 xm (the earlier model)....n i found out tht N5530 was missin three things...(1)gps..(2)3g...(3)ViDeOCaLL camera....
wheras all the 3 things r available in N5800
frankly speakin i really like tis phone but there r two things tht r bothering me n tht is 3G n GPS...video callin is not tht imp for me.....
so Frnds wht do u feel which ones better.....
Can u tell me whts the price of N 5530 XM.....n when is it hiiting the indian market....
plss reply i wish u guys could help me here! It's gonna be a big THANK's...

Great phone! More stylish and slim than 5800 and 5230... mine is white and pink and i only get compliments! It's solid and the OS, so far, is stable. The sound is great, the screen is awesome, although i would like the touch part to have different sensitivities. The only important thing i think it's missing is the GPS, but oh well, you can't have it all for it's price!

I did ask him that i heard rumours that the stocks have come and NPD are waiting for Nokias order to release, But he said NO.. the stocks have not yet come.

Hi Guys,
I'm looking for another phone then my N85 I'm using now. But I'm looking for something that has the same possibility as the N85.
I'm interested in this phone but I've been told that it's impossible to send email with this phone.
Example: N85 has the posibility to add an emailaccount using pop3 or html like Hotmail.
I could send and read email without problems.
Can I do the same with the 5530?
What is the big difference sending and reading mail without G3 network? Much slower, very slow or to slow?
