Is there any way to find out directly from Nokia when will 5530 be released here in India?
I have tried calling Nokia support and emailing them and even posted in Nokia forums...there is no answer from any one.
I wanted to know if they plan to release during Christmas or New Year. So, that I can replace my old Nokia phone.

Asked NPD in Pune.
they are not saying anything about the price of 5530.
After pushing One dealer told me 16K ( outrageous!!! )
The set will be available on 7 Nov 2009 Onwards.
I think Nokia will launch 5530 only after they get rid of 5800 inventory :)

i did not say 5530's battery life is awful. i just said it sucks for people who don't wanna charge everyday. and charging the phone only 2-3 times a week is a very good feeling. anyways, the features are good, the stereo speakers are very awesome and great sounding. i just hate the battery (could've been 1500mAh for additional 5-10 euros). but for the price, yes it is fine.

User, 22 Oct 2009Shut up about commenting about the battery life, I think it... moreI agree with you coz I am a 5530 user too the more time you use it with wifi videos and music it consume the battery power quickly but saying battery life is bad is inappropriate,I can say battery is good enough and it depends on the user on how to manage its battery life..

Is the ram of this Phone is SD RAM?.. Can someone Explane me about this.. Bcuase in some websites its not stated that its ram is SD RAM..

Shut up about commenting about the battery life, I think it's adequate. I charge it every day, but I use wi-fi intensely..
I'll give you a breakdown of what I did 2day:
Note I kept screen at high brightness
I kept wifi on for about 8 hours, and spent them downloading a video.
I also browsed internet for about 2hrs during the wifi time, and I also plugged in headphones and listened to music for about an hour, and then watched half hour of video HQ. I shot about 20 pictures,and I spent some time looking at the gallery, and sweeping photos trying to find the perfect wallpaper.
After all that I had to charge... I don't know about you, but I found that adequate... true its not great, but saying its bad or awful or anything like that is stupid...

hey i recently heard from my friend who bought an n79 from alpha(mumbai). he said dat 5530XM is available der. damn sure abt it coz it was one of his options... dont beat me if u dont find it.... bt suggestin jus giv it a try... good luck..! n if ne 1 finds it pls tell me... reply me on this post.... thnx in advance....!!!!

I think Nokia should write a formal apology to LG for ruining a perfectly good phone (GM & GT Phone Model)... coz the design look like GM & GT .
