I have used the smallest and i mean the smallest piece of blue tack to put under the cover. This keeps it in place and stops it moving. The blue tack has to be really tiny piece otherwise battery cover won't go back on at all. Smaller than a pea

i use this phone 2 weeks, overall is ok, i like it! but i think the software is not stable cos when i'm using wifi surfing the web, receiving the incoming call, then the phone will HANG .... too bad!!!

those who were waiting for this phone all along since 2 months in india feel cheated and like a fool,nokia has made a clown of itself and its customers in india by delaying this phone for sooooo long and even if they release it now very few will buy now as most of them who were waiting have either bought 5800 or some other fone from other brands.

It now almost confirmed that Nokia will NOT release this phone in India in near future. Even Nokia dealers have no clue about this phone release date.
In Nokia.co.in for Diwali offers Nokia 5530 phone is not included but all the other phones are included.

All these days I was waiting for this phone, but no more waiting. It is time to say good bye to Nokia and look for another brand with similar features. :(

been using for weeks,so far so good less restart problem n touch scrren sensitivity slightly better den its previous model 5800..tat model model i use it for onli ard 2 weeks n i sold it off due to hardware problem issue. to rate tis fone i will give it 4 out of 5 star..not ex n value for money with wifi too,and of cos the size is more handy den 5800 too.

I absolutely love this phone. I've had it for almost 2 weeks now, and I've been testing it almost every single day.
First and foremost, it's definitely something that you can slip into your jeans pocket because it's slim enough. It's also light enough. So is it portable? Yes.
Resolution is excellent and the default brightness is at 50% so if you can modify this to your liking.
Many freewares are now compatible with this phone, but in many cases, softwares that work with Nokia 5800 and N97 are also compatible with the Nokia 5530.
That said, the Nokia 5530 is definitely for anyone on a budget, and it is commonly compared to the Nokia 5800 & N97.
Simply install Google Maps and this phone transforms into a GPS device.
Main connectivity features: WAP, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth.
Kinetic scrolling is an absolute plus as well, something the 5800 doesn't have (which is weird because I would consider it a basic feature for any touchscreen phone).

since the backcover of all 5530 units are wobbly type, it feels like it is not tight, the tactile feedback make the feeling worse, the vibration makes it very uneasy...
we can use a piece of paper or cloth to make the cover tight and enjoy the tactile feedback without any discomfort..

1=its Fast mobile...best and better than the stupid old 5800 plastic phone.and also its UI is better than the new n97...the 5530 Camera quality is amazing...believe me or not but 5530 camera is best from the stupid old 5800 carl zeiss..and last 5530 is the best mobile..now i think nokia knows how to build the best touch mobile..the old 5800 by nokia was a big mistake and now nokia giving 5800 with free headset....bcz its market value will going to be low in next 1 or 2 months..

the web browser is good and powerful with flashlite but not satisfying...waiting for flash v10, hope it can play facebook video...
I am enjoying wifi via my router..
