Hello All 5530 Experts....Pls Help Me on the below issue.
1) I was facing serious issue with my 5530 phone. Every time while I was making a call,the screen goes black. The phone simply turned off for no reason though the battery was fully charged! The same happens when
I get calls/someone tries to call me and when I
answer the call, the phone screen goes black and
turns off. With this i can't make any outgoing calls/Can't receive any incoming calls as well. Recently i have removed all the 3rd party softwares installed on my memory card and formatted the phone memory and the memory card as well. Has anyone gone through this situation till now? Can anyone help me on this problem? Already updated the software to the latest version!
Hope you guys can help me on this issue.. was fed up with this phone on this issue...Will check daily to see if anyone responds to my question. Please help me on this issue.
2) Can anyone tell me how to copy the contacts stored in Ovi suite.. I dont see any option in ovi to send the contact to phone?

I bought this phone 2 months ago ...
It's ok .. no problems with Symbian S60 ... For browsing I recommanded Opera Mini.
The sound is very good.

I am trying to instal applications from third party websites like mobile9, dot sis, buti keep getting certificate error. Any solution will be appreciated.this happens with all the apps apart from downloads from OVI

I am getting certificate error wheni instal the applications from third party websites. The applications thati have tried are widgetizer, angry birds, or any other app thati am trying from last week.

can somebody please help me ? everytime i lock then unlock my 5800 , it only shows lines .. like a tv channel without a station. & when someone's calling , i don't know who it is .. because i can only see are lines. then i am forced to restart it so that i am able to use it again. please help me fix this. thank's.

I've owned this phone for over 12 months and would not recommend it to anyone. The OS is slow, the Ovi apps are almost all rubbish (how many fart applications does a phone need?), and the hardware is suspect. After 12 months my phone started shutting off randomly. Google around for this and you'll see it's not isolated. Stay away from this phone unless the price falls to 60€ or lower.

Good phone the cons is slow edge (no 3g) and battery life realy sucks

Natsu, 05 Mar 2011Hi! Can i ask how much this cost in philippine now?(year 20... morea brand new unit costs around 7.5k-8.8k these days. If you're contented with its specs.. it's worth the price. One of the major problems with the unit is it's freezing on some calls and some apps, which can very be annoying. But those won't be a problem once you've upgraded your firmware to v31 and above. Battery life is not long as expected. Mine last for about 2 days (around 5-7 hours music, around 1 hour of games, plus calls and texting) on my unit. Music speakers is good. Overall, it's worth the price for it's specs. :)
