i like the phone n' price but no 3G? WTH? shoot i wish there's a 3G chip we can buy or something i'll put in the phone myself!

I am very much optimistic that 5530 will be available in india by this weekend.
I checked with mobile store & univercell, both told it will be expected at around 12-13k.......
Indian fans just another week left. Maybe its available in others parts of the world at same time....

Mani, 31 Aug 2009Wont a scratch guard reduce the sensitivity of the screen. ... moreThat's what i had thought too but i use the sratchguard on my 5800 and you barely feel the difference. It's very thin and very effective. A must have. Using the stylus on the bare screen can easily cause scratches

FAK, 31 Aug 2009what if we put dark protector mean black protectorNone of us have tried it yet. We r waiting for the phone. You can block sunlight under paper or palm of your hand. Or operate under a shade. Many touchscreens do pose sunlight legibility probs may be due to additional touch sensitive layer.

Nokia insists that we do not stick any protective film over the screen, yes i totally agree with that. Is there any good cover/ leather pouch that is sold in mobile shops so that we can protect it when we keep it in our pockets.

In a internet-era such as this, why doesn`t Nokia launch this beautiful model with 3G (or 3,5) features?
It would be a HIT!!! I would buy it on the spot!
Like it is, it`s just another (very) pretty face...

funkyto, 31 Aug 2009unfortunately yes the sunlight legibility is poor just like 5800Nokia says that it has AFFS technology in its LCD, may be thats the best we can expect under sunlight.... nothing can beat sunlight or atleast backlight colour displays.
