5800 much better as it has a much larger screen . and also much more battery time plus the recording factor and 8 GB also included whereas 5530 only has 4 GB included

Question for people who dislike this phone.

Why is this cell phone so poor rated? I like touchscreen phones, and i honestly don't need 3G. So aside that this phone doesn't have 3G, and a bit smaller battery... whats so bad about this phone? Lets say it has 3G, and 1500mah battery, would it be in that case great cell phone? Like 9 out of 10? Consider that this phone would probably be cheaper comparing to other TS phones (Iphone 3GS, HTC touch pro2, touch diamond 2, HTC touch HD, samsung omnia HD etc..)

Well I think personally that Nokia comitted a big mistake by bringing out the Nokia 5800, like... The whole phone is sooo plastic and the software crashes all the time. Give me a Nokia N95 8GB... That's what you can call a decent phone.

And don't give me the 'learn your phones' line, because this is what I do for a living.

Nokia is so damn SMART. They know what is BUSINESS!

This would sell MILLIONS again just like the Nokia 5800.

Samsung is good at making "the" phones but Nokia is the best at selling it.

So omnia HD should be branded Nokia and not Samsung.

Nokia may not have the best phones but they have the knowledge that all of the other cell phone manufacturers can NEVER have.

I'm just a satisfied Nokia user, that's all. Peace!

Anonymous, 23 Jun 2009Great news..Endorsement between NOKIA & INTEL.. From now n... moreI guess you have no idea about the difference in battery life it will result in.
ARM is extremely power efficient compared to x86 (intel architecture).
Check out Nvidia Tegra playing high definition videos on mobile phone with less than 1W and even the Atom is not able to play anything above standard definiton video. And we are looking at an x86 processor which will be less capable than Atom for mobile phones.
Anyways, Nvidia and Microsoft are trying to increase the potential of Windows CE in ARM core, so that will be a True Winner.

I found Data Sheet for 5530 provided by Nokia, it says this phone can record video with 640x360 at 30 fps. Check below attached link...
