If you bought a v30 firmware 5530XM, you can't downgrade it. It will bricked your phone. You should update it to the latest firmware. Get a v20 firmware 5530XM so you can hack it first then update its firmware.

i think its the anonymous user that suck! do you even know how to use a smart phone? camera clarity has improved on v31 firmware, sound is very good. slim solid build quality with style, who needs 3G? i use my computer for surfing the internet, totally better than cellphones lol...

hi this is good but no 3g facilties in that no options.. and image clarty is bad, and if u use the net and phone will be hang, and battry back up is so bad no back up .in that u can not use the google page and if u want to use the net u have to insatlled the opera mini.... and but video clarity is so so so so so so good awesome even Nokia 5800not give that much claity in video

ummmm.... is this phone nice and worth buying... cause i really want to buy it soon, and if this phone is bad...is there any other touch phones that are worth buying and nice even though it is not the same brand as Nokia.... :) thanks u!! i hope u can get an answer very soon....

this phone is very suck.many time time hang & its touchscreen vibrating not work properly.camera is not good like 2mp.btery back up also not good.

the hold doesn't feel solid, phone not too sensitive even the screen. i can say that build quality is better than good.
music is the best! 5530 the best!

you should update your phone's firmware, if under warranty you can have it for free just bring your mobile to nokia care..
or you can do it your self just google search for the proper and correct procedure.
if you plan to hack your mobile, do it first before the update because version v30 and v31 is still unhackable..
another reason why your phone hangs is maybe because you have downloaded a no good application which causes the hanging problem.. uninstall your apps and soft reset your phone, if you really want to have them again install them one by one and monitor before the other..
camera is very acceptable for a mobile phone and sound quality for my is better buddy. sound quality is the best so far because it is crisp.
not loud but sound quality wise.

in my case, i did not get that chance because the salesman immediately activated the phone when i said im taking it..

Anonymous, 08 Nov 2010hello, i am Shuvo..I have few problems..I bought this mobil... morejust delete some 3rd party faulty application, sound quality is better than 5230/33 bc it has stereo speakers and belongs to xpress music make sure you uploaded an uncompressed mp3, always clear your phone memory n save all multi media to mmc to make it freeze free.

5530 is a very nice phone for those having a kinda restricted budget(like me lol).
i personally think that it is value for money but you need to know how to use it in a way to become so(eg using some software to make your phone become really nice)
but if it does not fit in what you want, say 3g or hd or amoled or anything, then go towards high end or middle high end. compared to 5 years ago, the price of high end phones are lower now.(excluding iphone)
