misger, 04 Nov 2010hi there! can i ask if it's possible to send me (in my emai... moreI recommend hacking your unit with HelloOx before proceeding to version 30 or 31, in that case your unit is still hacked. :) that's what i did. Just don't try restoring it to its default settings once you did that, coz so far I haven't read a remedy for that yet. Also try adding RamBlow and RomPatcher... that'll take care of freeing up memory and certificate problems when installing applications. And for the rest of the other applications you want to install. I suggest you read about those apps in forums, to have an idea what to expect. :) Other than that... enjoy the 5530. I'm running my unit with a 16gb class 2 card so far... and it's all good so far. Still doing research on its performance on a 32gb chip. :)

those options are both good phones, use 'compare link' of gsmarena, it should tell you the basic difference of your two choices.
but let me tell you buddy it's not just the phone, it's also about you and the applications that you install.
both are symbian phones, if you dont mind lack of 3g
and budget wise go for 5530.

yes, same here. i was hesitant to buying another phone back then but after seeing 5530's specs and reading all the reviews here especially brother Nuwan's posts i finally made up my mind that 5530 is what i really want. now im enjoying and loving everything about her.

it's ok buddy it was your first time but in no time you'll be familiar with dotsis.
once logged in browse down and see for the s60 v5 application click on it and there you go your ready to download.
just click on the thread(title or topic), from there you can see the download link.

if it's still under warranty then dont hesitate to bring it in nokia care, they'll fix it for you for free..

Actually Nikko is better with this issue. he helped me out with signing so i suggest ask for his help.
he's a kind dude, dont worry..
well yes you can, but only if you're in firmware v20. sorry to say everyone but as of now v30 and v31 fw is unhackable, and we're not sure when or will it be hackable in the future..
it's great to have either of the two hacking or signing.. and safe too, just follow the steps carefully especially in hacking. signing is not as complicated as hacking though, well that's how i see it.
almost all great apps need to be signed first(if your phone is unhacked), so it's ok to spend minutes to sign right..

but i dont know how to look around...
by the way.. from philippines here too.. just bought my my 5530 about 4 months now... and the wifi is realy good... mine is red in black.... and just have a cool theme for it... i think i found it on zedge.com,,,
