I found 1 bug on my phone using Xtension^10, the music player. I have 500+ songs, when I refresh it, the 352 songs are added but the other 170 songs are gone and when I'm refreshing it again, the 170 songs will be added but the 352 songs are gone. I putted all the music files on E:\Sounds\Music. Thats why I use TTPod 3.70 to refresh all the songs. Well I'm suggesting Jett to use a cfw. But he said his warranty will get void. And 1 thine brother, I can't see my Realplayer app on my phone. Someone said in dailymobile forums, "some of the apps are hidden". I want the realplayer. :(

I tried several CFWs based on C6 ported firmware for 5530 (by PNHT) but none of them couldn't make me feel comfortable.. After trying 3 of them, I finally decided I don't want the C6 look on my 5530...!
Now I'm using Xtension^10 which I tried first and fit best for me... I like the transition effects of this CFW a lot... and Performance wise, it's way too better than the original one... However still there are bugs though they say that there is no bug...
I think we better make CFW by our own other wise none of pre-made CFW will not fit for us... But still 'Paddy' has not posted his guide for making our own CFWs...!
Well.. One more thing brother... Our friend Jett seems to have so many troubles with his handset... I would like to help him but his problems are not described well or they are not problems at all even though he things they are... According to me, I think he's afraid of doing anything with the mobile and that itself is being a pain for him...! (If you don't install any 3rd party application in your smart mobile, how do you expect it to perform faster...? But our brother Jett is too afraid of trying anything as he has already screwed several times...)
If I had the chance I will check his mobile by myself and identify the problems... But we are living in different parts of the world... I just thought if you can call him and help him to resolve his problems... (May be he even come to meet you with his unit..) Is that ok with you...?
I'm asking because he seems to have a very hard time struggling with his unit that he loves very much... that's sad you know...

I bought this phone a week ago and i already flashed it after reading some guides on flashing, and i love this phone even more.
Now my phone have CFW Xtension C6-01 but different transition effect made by me :D
what more can u ask, all apps and everything to enhance your phone is there.
And my phone is still under warranty.
Dont afraid to hack or flash your phone as you can restore it to your original firmware or setting.

please help me
i had buyed this phone not more than a month now have encountered a problem, touchscreen sometimes dont respond suddenly and the phone should be unlocked and locked to make it respond again, also there are applications that i have installed but it doent appear on the phone...
i really appreciate ur help... anyways would someone teach em about hacking wht are the advantages... im just a newbie i hve just read this things on this forum i want to know more thanks

I am facing some problems..It sometimes become hang..sometimes It does not respond when i try to receive a call...But these are very minor problem..
Is there anyone to tell me that how can i increase my RAM..It always shows only 40 ...and i can not use opera mini 4.2 in my mobile...it does not install in my mobile...If I want to use a theme, the mobile becomes so slow...sorry for my weak english quality..please help me...I bought this mobile happily..But it problems make me unhappy..

first, im glad that you finally made it brother, now brother nikko and you may now tell us more about it. and that's one thing we've always been waiting... new surprises from our beloved 5530..
i also wanna try it ofcourse, i am just letting some more time to pass so that we could see whether custom firmware will be as good as it was when first installed..
now i got this question that i still experience up to date since the second time that i brought my Francesca to Nokia Care. every time i am using my music player it get's slow it lags or something. speed is really reduced, i can really notice it even in typing a message.
what can i do about it?
and another problem here is that i cant use wifi, even in hot spots. i dont understand why i can connect to wifi but cant use it i even sometimes get disconnected.
please help me brother, do i need to do something or configure or fix any settings?
i havent installed any applications yet. i deleted each and every application that i got and im bound to gather it again. this time with extra care. wish me luck brothers..thanks! hear from you all soon.

But that doesn't mean its the end of the road for it. Symbian^1 requires a lot less hardware resources than android or iOS. This allows it to operate in a price range that android or iOS can only dream of. We already have the 5230s and the 5233s operating in a price range devoid of any other smartphone. The sub 110 euro 5250 will be released soon. The idea of a smartphone for everyone will become a reality very soon thanks to symbian^1 devices.

Congratulations brother! I tried the Xtension^10 cfw as well. The last cfw that I used is Audaciouz v3 based on 5530 v31 fw. :)
