v8.30 firmware fixes virtually ALL of the problems caused/not rectified by v6.60 :D

this phone at first seems like its really good has nice features and stuff but it is very fragile and breaks down easy in 2 months my screen stopped working my usb input got stuck to my wire and got ripped out and the sliding bar just flew off. Alot of cheap plastic parts and bad engineering.

i think i would echo the sentiment of many other users here, 5610 is not really worth buying. there are reports (and myself have experienced) many problems with the phone resetting itself all of which have not been rectified by consequent firmware updates from nokia. plus i thought i was getting a phone with a built-in 3.5mm jack, in fact it is a 2.5mm with an attachment that allows for a 3.5mm, its a real pain.
i thought this phone would be good, but its buggy and crap, there are better phones out there, even 6500 slide seems a lot better

You can update the Firmware th... moreok thankyou for the headsup about it being Asian version. did you notice any improvements, are any of the languages in english for that firmware? could anyone please supply the product code for the 5610 so that v8.30 is compatible with that phone version?

for any hanging problems turn off 3G. it helped me.
