oh! my god i really hopeless with this phone because even the sound or display it can not compare to the ipod nano. display have nice color but not brigt the sound low bass and very noise the navigator button is crap. trust me! but what i like is design and camera even video recording it's nearly DVD quality.final word for me if you going to buy a music phone please SE or Ultra music you will be appreciate with its. If you love 5610 style it perfect for me cause i have my walkman mp3 and also ipod. belive me it is a real advice.

i realli regret buying N5610! bought this for less than 3 months, and i'd visited the service ctr 3 times, now still in 'hospital' for almost 3 weeks liao. it's taking way too long and the staff kept 'tai-chi'. and the 1st 2 times, was one week after another, cos 'system hang' and then they said they need to 'upgrade software', ya,like how much upgrading can be done. and the slider key, service ctr staff can tell me that it's common the key breaks easily and needs replacement. needless to say, mine also broke, besides hang and auto-switch off. even if i collect back the repaired fone, i'll not use it anymore-so unstable! =(

hey guyz.....after reading all opinions bout both N73me and 5610.....m really confused regrdin wh cell 2 go for.....coz the features almst run parallel....wat my perception aftr readin all opinions bout features n fone in general is dat.....5610 has a better camera....better music....but n73me is symbian phone....my doubt is can u open word files in n73me (wh i thnk 1 cn)....n can u do the same in 5610...n i ll b really grateful if sum1 can guide regrdin this issue of wh cel 2 go for.....
N73me or 5610...
and can we hav reminders (lik b'day rem. etc)in 5610 as we cn in n73????

this is a very fragile phone guys!!!! If its not the slider whos gonna break first, its the phone itself thats always hanging.... I got my thing last february and it had its first nokia care visit already the next month for repair!!!!! I was listening to my favorite song and then it stopped, only to find out that its dead and restarting already....and I was like "what the F"!!!!

i ordered it and got a fairly decent price at $275 but i didnt check and see if it tok sim cards...

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Overall between 5610 and 5320, I think 5610 is still a superior phone since it has 2.2" screen and 3.2MP camera with autofocus, compared with 5320 which only has 2.0" screen and 2.0MP camera without autofocus. The only advantage of 5320 over 5610 is the symbian OS with N-gage gaming support. I believe they are going to cost you around the same price, but if you do not use the symbian OS/N-gage gaming, I'm sure you will appreciate the larger screen and the far superior camera on the 5610, which you can already buy today. But if you can't live without the symbian OS/N-gage gaming, you'll have to wait for the 5320 (or go for N81).

it is th great phone I ever ha... moreThere are three things that would disappoint you if you change from 5610 to N81:
- The camera is only 2.0MP without autofocus, it is very poor compared to the 3.2MP camera with autofocus in 5610
- There is no microSD slot in the N81 8GB so you cannot swap memory cards as you can with 5610
- N81 is a very heavy phone
If you want a phone with wi-fi, I recommend N78, N82 or N95. Later this year, there will also be N96, E66 and E71 which all have wi-fi and 3.2 or 5MP camera with autofocus.

but now I want to buy N81 8GB especially because it has 8GB storage & the wi-fi
I lill don't care about the 3G because in my country this connection is not optimum used
so,which has better performance?
N81 8GB or 5610?

i've got a 5610 xpress music. and i'd like... moreYou can choose the numbers you want to block and add them to a group. Then set the group ringtone to silent and no vibration. This way, when the number calls you, the phone will not ring or vibrate, it will only show the number on the screen.
I think this is the only way to do it. I don't think you can really block someone by yourself using the phone, unless you ask your service provider to do so.

But you have to make sure the object is about 1 meter away from the camera. If you go too near it gets too bright, if you go too far it gets too dark.
Anyway, the best way is to take pictures outdoor with good lighting, then the camera will show its best performance and quality.

If you are playing music and a call comes in, the music will pause automatically. When you answer the call there will be no background music so you can hear each other clearly. Once you finish your call, the music will automatically continue playing from where it pause earlier.
However, while you are typing SMS or surfing internet with the phone, the music can be left playing in the background (same for both 5610 and N73).

Yes the phone is very tough and the material is scratch proof, although it is better to stick a protective film on the front to prevent unwanted damage from keys, coins etc (if you put them in the same pocket as the phone). The slider mechanism is excellent and very tough, it does not break easily. I have dropped mine even with the slide open, but nothing was damaged and my phone still look as new as when I bought it in January.
