Yup...me also dropped my phone 4 times...3 times n th road!!!...bt it nevr gt screwed,evn it didnt restrt...it ws as fine as b4...only difference is tht i gt some some scratches on th side n my phone... :( :( :(

Can we store SMSs into the memory card and access it? Or is there any other way we can view the SMSs through PC and copy them to PC? Thank you

alister nm, 04 Jun 2008this phone is very delicate if u drop it is screwed i recom... moreI have dropped my 5610 several times and twice with the slide open. It does not get "screwed" at all. NO DAMAGE. And the sliding button is still intact like new, definitely not "screwed" ok.
5610 quality is top notch and comparable to all the new N-series. Maybe some of you did not get the original 5610 and are complaining about the quality. Well I'm not surprised if your china phones are "screwed"

The screen is only 262k colors (vs 16.7m colors most new Nokia's have) and the storage card is using the outdated miniSD type with 2GB limit. You cannot store a lot of photos/music/videos in 2GB. And N73 is really, really slow with only 64MB of RAM. My dad is using N73 so I know it.
People who wants symbian/N-series should go for N81/82/95 at this time, or even N78/96 which are coming soon. 5320xm, 6210n and 6220c are not bad as well.
People who do not need symbian should go for 5610 (now) or the new 6600 series (coming soon).
Lastly, 3120 classic is also an excellent and most economical choice for people who wants to save cost but still wants 3G with front camera (aka video call support).

Guys really i used this phone the music is great BUTTTTT u know that slide thing in it it got broken 2 times really without mis using it becarfullit's bad cause'v this

this phone is very delicate if u drop it is screwed i recommend to buy N73 music edition than this phone also the freaking sliding button get screwed when the phone falls!! i brought it and sold it with in a month!!!

hi all 5610 user;
i just bought this set 3 days ago... what i want to know is that whether it supports and runs softwares like "mig33" or "ebuddy"??? i hav tried but failed to run these.... if anyone has installed any chat application(i.e. messengers...msn, yahoo etc) then plz plz do reply to me....

deadpool, 02 Jun 2008i use total video converter to convert video for my 5610.. ... moreonce you copy the mp3 song to 5610 it should now be in "my collection". Find it then click on the left of the song so the selector box is there. Tick the box and then drag your jpeg to where it says drag image here. This only works when in "my collection" not "all music". Copy again to 5610 and overite existing file cause now it has the jpeg.

- music chip, for better music quality and use less power to play music so you can play longer hours of high quality music/video
- music slider key for fast switching between phone mode and music player
- very beautiful casing and 10% lighter than 6500 slide by using more plastic than metal (the plastic is actually very good quality, scratch resistant)
- smoother slide open/close mechanism (6500 slide is a bit too tight)
- replace carl-zeiss lens with a normal lens and remove tv-out function to save cost (which is why 5610 is cheaper than 6500 slide by 20%, eventhough it is newer and better in other areas)
I'd say among all the S40 (non-symbian) phones in the market today, 5610 is just like N95 among the S60 phones. Every spec it has is the best of the best and the camera is also 3.2mp like 6500 slide, and does not lose much (if any) quality anyway. I have compared and can't tell the difference.
