that phone is the worst phone i had ever,, it's hang after 1 or 2 min talking and it's after 3 monthes using,,,,my opinion is to give up nokia forever

The first charge is less important in modern phones than it used to be. I would reccommend several hours, but then discharge it completely before recharging. The battery preformance should improve after a few charge/discharge cycles.
And to the person that said "5700 is much better than the 5610...and that's a fact" - no it's not a fact, it's just your opinion. It's well documented that the sound quality is better in the 5610 because of its dedicated sound chip. And the camera is also better as it's 3.2 MP rather than 2 MP. It depends on whether you want symbian or not, but that does not make the 5700 better!

hey guys... please im begging any of you... can you tell me if the speakers are loud as 6500 or just a little lower... i noticed they have the same positions of everything!! even cam and speakers..
please any1 please, can you tell me if the speaker of this phone is loud...
and 1 more thing if the cam is as good as 6500... and which is better, 6500 or 5610?

Hi all, I plan to swtich to 5610.
Is the quality of the speaker phone loud and clear? Other party can hear you clearly?
I used to use the speaker phone while driving or at home. The speaker phone quality for my recent phone got some problems. The other party can't hear me clearly and it shows crack sound sometimes.

I think this phone is a bad make. It makes my mind clear about never going in for a nokia phone ever again! Not only is it terribly flimsy; the quick slider button which looks really cool, is the first thing to come off. That, followed by the system crashes.
The phone cannot handle large data and eny more than 2 applications running simultaneously, and hangs. This in comparison with sony phones is deplorable performance! Once it hangs, it has to be rebooted and takes over 5 minutes to freshly populate all lists and memory again!
Not a good phone to buy. I would not recommend it. I am suffering with the phone!
For those of you who've already got it, treat it well and hope for the best!

5700 is much better than the 5610...and that's a fact..5610 looks good but 5700 is feature pack handset...nokia 5700 is the king of Xpress Music ;)

I ve been using this phone for a month now. Its cool n great .. some options are innovative. the only problem i have is that sometimes it restarts by itself...
Always the received time of the SMS is wrong...it always lags by a few hours... anyone have any idea reg this???/

Totally agree with Marcus. Before any of you ask any more stupid questions, please read the phone review and its spec. Its all written clearly. Please show that you all do have some brain. This comment is sent using my nokia 5610. Cool phone but sometimes hung. Anyway which phone never hung??

The font camera is for video calls only!
Yes the phone is 3G.
The maximum stated memory card is 4GB.
Yes the phone does hang sometimes.
Yes, the music quality is great.
Some say the battery is good, some bad.
The same can be said for the camera.
No its not a Symbian phone.
No you can't load programmes onto it, only java.
It has a 2.5mm socket with a 3.5mm adaptor.
No you can't read pdf's on it.
No you can't load anti-virus on it.

Still nw my phone hs never hanged...Be sure to buy a original phone bcz many fave mobiles r in th market which hangs a lot.... th phone is jst gr888......
