at comment below...which headphones u use??
are they supplied ones really bad compared to SE hpm-70 ( the ones given with walkman)?

to all those who have qualms in buying this i say please go and take it it is amazing i have the red colur ...
1)music is great...please change ur head phones u will have more fun.
2)battery after charginf it for 6 hours initially i had 5 hrs of continuous songs ...it was great.
3)camera wise flash is rocking and autofocus makes it amazing to shoot.
4)though video recording was not great neverthless it was not bad.
5)processor is symbian which is extremely fast great processor.
the only negative thing abt this is it is a bit bulky but for a slider it is great...miles ahead of w580i whose keys cracked ...and luckily i exchanged that mobile for this this is amazing.

great phone great camera .....music player is great...i think best model to take on walman series i had w810 i which i considered as a classic this surpasses that by miles tremendrous speed while multitasking...easiest of cameras with quality pics ....great great phone .

nokia 5610 is not so great...i dont like its design...6500 slide is better.

Good phone,but for ''musicphone'' still can't beat the walkman series from Sony Ericsson. Because the ''W'' series has a megabass feature and a hi-fi quality earphones (hpm-70 or hpm-64) in retail package,so you don't need buy more earphones

Good phone, but definately won't be at the top. If only Nokia learned how to make a good gadget slim.

Oh, and I might add that my battery lasted for 4 days so its not as bad as some others have said.

Gabi - I couldn't agree more - most questions asked here have been answered many times over. Guys - just look back at the previous pages!
To answer a few recent questions - yes the phone is plasticky, but that doesn't mean the build quality isn't good. The slider has a very positive feel and has no wobbles. The led flash is much brighter than others I have used - maybe not as bright as a proper zenon flash, but not far behind. And the clicking that can be heard when the camera is on stand-by is the autofocus mechanism.
Lets be clear hear - its predominantly a music phone, and it's a very good one - great sound quality and impressive volume. The supplied earphones are poor quality so change them and you'll be more than saitsfied. The camera is only its secondary function, but with 3.2 MP, autofocus and flash, it certainly dodesn't disappoint. That also beats most Walkman phones too.

the 5610 is a great phone its comparison in sound with the n73 music is that they are both the same i recommend for everyone to buy this phone

1 > How gud is the camera? I ask this because these phones are primarily music-oriented and 5310 had a terrible camera despite being a 2MP...
2 > Does it shoot video at QVGA or QCIF?
3 > Does it include flash?
4 > What about the battery life?

To singh_sps4u2,
I would recomend u to buy N73 if u dont have any problem wid old model, but if u want to buy a new model phone with good music thn I would recomend u 5610 n if u want wid camera thn 6500 slide

i thnk this thing is relative that how wil feel the plastic of the cell but i feel its quite gud... there is nothing like that it is bad..
this is really a gud thread...
