This is the best music phone so far.... I don't know about the sound of the speaker... But with 512mb built-in memory, crd can be expandable to 4gb, 3.2 megapixel autofocus cam and crystal clear Hi-Fi audio enabled by dedicated audio chip, this is so good to buy....
But surely,,
IT WILL BE MY NEXT PHONE...!!!!!!!!!!! Haha;p

buddy the 5700 got a 2.5 mm in the phone but it got a 3.5 mm input in the headset remote unit which plugs in to the 2.5 mm input through a wire ... and u can plug in a different 3.5 mm headphone set to it but remember the originally packed headphone set with 5700 wont give u the best sounds cuz its made by some other manufacturer i recommend using a different headset u will see how much quality sounds the 5700 gives u by then ...

does ths hav a 3.5 mm jack.......
they havnt mentind bout that here bt 5310 has it......
only gripe is tht it is only 2mp....
nd i do wnder y nokia missd out on 3.5 mm jack in such a capable phone like 5700

What SE don't hangs u all SE users just play any high birates song on any SE phone through speakers for more than 15 minutes it will for sure stuck at any song and make noise like grrrr...., and now play same song on any Nokia music phone for hours it will never hang and one more thing S40 v3 can beats any SE OS

go for the nokia 5700 xpress music if u want a faster symbian series 60 3rd edition phone ... it rocks just as the other xpress music phones ...

For all you se people who think reviewers use the W800 as a benchmark, I sincerely thank them. The W800 more than a year old. If is was used as a benchmark, it'll probably get trashed by other phones.
Reviewers use the best phones out in the market as benchmarks, not the oldest or first, or whatever. If they really were using the first music phone as a benchmark, they'd be using Nokia phones (they came out with the first music-enabled phone)

the only reason why s.e. never wanted to put all those features packed in nokia phones is that they only wanted to make more money making the firmware of every s.e. walkman phone the same . its really good that nokia introduced symbian's which gives the users a better chance to configure and personalize there phones in a better way ... and symbian's support many applications ... actually than those old sony e. w. firmware crap the nokia's symbian features dominates the world ... and when it comes to music nokia got the upper hand cuz it got symbian by there side but not s.e. so that they will always use the same kind of options in there new phones just to make more money ... even motorolas are starting to make history together with linux mobile based o/s ... why iz it that sony ericssons are still sticking to the old firmwares and designs ... i even saw samsung , lenovo and panasonic , simens getting involved in s60 devices but whats wrong with s.e. where r u s.e. why are u still sticking to the old type of firmwares why u dont wanna make new stuff and give users of s.e. phones a better expirience why ur still playing the same recordings about ur mega bass and mp3 ... (5700 also plays wma's now) why am i asking all those from our dear readers lol ? ...

W800i is the Benchmark of Music Phone's
why dont people understand that ??
all Music Phone's are Judged by the Sony Ericsson W800i since it was the first Music Phone ever Made !

most phone reviewers use the N91 to benchmark high-end music phones. Hmm... if se's music quality is really better, i wonder why they dont use them instead.
Go check out reviews of the 5700, for instance. They had an extensive review on the music section aginst the w880. Although only by a small margin, the 5700 won in terms of sound quality.
