kuruboh, 07 Jun 2009Helow der. the phone is good and really cooool! but i have... morego into the actual camera mode itself then go to where it says options then go to settings then go to sounds and turn it off! hope that helps.

its a very awesome phone.. its easy to use and very handy.. i love its camera most because its very nice and the flash makes the picture clear.. my phone is in a v9.40 software.. i update it with the use of nokia website..

a picture there some noise will appear its the shutter
sound!

I am using this handset since 1 year, I am facing problem while using it when i opend the slide flash is not their to check my phone options i have to push slid..... this is dam iritating..
I visited your nokia glary they are saying me keep your phone foe 30 days... Am I fool?

new phone guy, 03 Jun 2009where is everyone getting the 9.40 firmware from i can only... moreit depends on your geographical location, if your country has that v8.30 version well our country had v9.40 firmaware version. i dont know why was just like that?
but you can still download it, its scattered all over the net. its not safe to update over the net because of the viruses. but still i have downloaded mine over the internet, fortunately no problems occured.

I will bring back what I have said about my bad comments regarding this phone. Though I experience partly discomfort about this phone, but that doesnt mean I dont love this phone.
Regarding the memory capacity of this phone, before it can only hold up to 4gig but the latest firmware which is v9.40, now it can hold up to 8gig, and fyi, new firmware version will be released this coming third quarter. I don't know yet what is exactly the firmware version's name and it fixes mostly the video mode and new apps of course. firmware version for those who don't know is the software solution for most phone problems and also it improves the software apps.
I wish they would add apps that will enable the flash to use as flashlight and enable the front camera for image & video capture as well.

i've been using this phone for about 5 months, this phone is one of the greatest phones i've used, i have use a quite lot of phones like samsung j700, nokia 5300, nokia 2610, nokia N72, motorokr e6, moto pebl U9, but trust me this the the greatest phone ever! fantastic music quality, superb display, amazing camera (low batary makes camera quality bad), bright flash, sexy music change hanger!
but the most awesome thing is that even on very noisy environment the phone supplies with a mind blowing sound quality. with its 4gb memoru stick i store upto 456 songs at times. if you see the disadvantages, the batary life goes down at moments but still low batary doesn't effect the music quality it supports music for about 14 hours, the some times the phone gets hanged if you browse the net and listen to music simultaniously, and the last bad quality, the slider, though it keeps the keypad shiny but its quite difficult, when you're pressing the numbers. BUT OVER ALL ITS A AWESOME PHONE AND IF YOU WANNA GET A GOOD MUSIC PHONE THIS ONE THE BEST! bye now

the firmware version will be released this late 3rdqtr. it says they fixes the bugs in video mode & making it mp4 capable playing 30pfs, and new applications like youtube.

FOX, 01 Jun 2009I mean besides resetting to factory default ?dude its a software, you cannot do anything on yourself, try to update the software or go to the nearest nokia care for consultation of your phone. maybe quite a hardware defect or just a software problem. avoid doing repair on your own, you'll only get damage your phone.
