Hi,
Can anyone tell how does nokia 5610 stand in terms of sound quality compared to sony's walkman series phones.
I am currently using W300i and want to switch to a music
phone which also has a great camera and great sound

have you already update your phone to v9.40. i've access the site of nokia but still the latest firmware is v8.30. are they finalizing the latest one, do anyone had already downloaded the v9.40 successfully?

Anyone here using the firmware version v9.40
i just check for the latest version for my nokia 5610 n it shows that there is 9.40 avlable for my handset ..
i no body is using it here i will share my xperience with new firmware with in a Week

Sufferer, 22 Jan 2009Don't ever buy this phone, the slide button breaks off, its... morenokia 5610 its a good fne u should wrk nicely with ur fne nd not break it .i got my fne a year nd so far no problem

Reza, 22 Jan 2009Plz somebody tell me how can i update my 5610?..hey there, you can update your phone via pc suite thru software updater, what is the version of your phone, the latest one is v8.30, nokia offers update of phone, just go to nokia website.

josh, 23 Jan 2009hey mate sounds like you card is corrupted yes maybe my card was corrupted, but still i don't know the reason, what maybe the problem, the computer, or the card reader or the phone itself, thanks for info, for those who speculate the functionality of this phone, stop making queries because nokia5610 is a good phone...

Before you start, make sure you have met these requirements:
To install and run Nokia Software Updater application:
PC with 1GHz or higher Pentium-compatible processor
At least 256 MB of RAM (memory)
Windows 2000 (SP4 or later) or Windows XP (SP1 or SP2) or Windows Vista
Administration rights on the PC while installing
High-speed internet connection
To connect your phone to a PC:
Fully charged, compatible Nokia phone
Compatible Nokia USB connection cable
Compatible USB port on your PC
Step 2/2: Back-up data
Personal data such as contacts, photos and messages stored in the phone memory will be deleted during phone software update. It is strongly recommended that you backup this data to your memory card before updating your phone software.
To backup to your memory card:
select Tools > Memory from the main menu
select Options > Backup phone mem.
To restore info to phone memory:
select Tools > Memory from the main menu
select Options > Restore from card

hey this isn't crap phone your hand may be too tough on this phone it needs ligh touches not rough touches i have one it's so beautiful and good but i use it it didn't break off.

Don't ever buy this phone, the slide button breaks off, its a total crap phone, rubbish phone, don't ever buy it and waste your money, horrible phone indeed, totally worthless

I have dis fone for 1 month from now .. and really it is nice without troubles yet .. nice cam nice options.

the fone has nice features but ive had it for 8 months now and it keeps hanging :S 3 times its frozen completely so it wont even start. had to send for software update but after having gone into repair 4 times im suspicious! i want to change this fone. any suggestions?

Dear Sir. Please let me know how inportant it is to have a biger Internal memory. do you think 20 MB memory for nokia 5610 is too smal? i have 5310 model and i get a message that my phone memory is almost full. i just have 6 phone number in it and all my pic are in my menory card. please let me know where i will get some information abut what internal memory is good for.
