Set it too new delhi and
Then fix the time in the settings to GMT as the msgs show d GMT time..!
I also sot this problm earlier bt nw i gt it solved..!

To the writer of the 5610 review:
You said one of the disadvantages of this phone is that charging the battery through the USB cable is not possible. I must say that you made a mistake. The 5610 does charge via USB. And cleverly at that. I connected my black/blue 5610 (software upgraded to v8.30) to my Dell Inspiron 1525 once with the phone on low battery. Then suddenly the battery meter on Nokia PC Suite 7 started scrolling. It was such a wonderful surprise. This phone does charge through USB, and only when necessary! I just love my Nokia 5610 XpressMusic...

i had a hard time using this fone when i first bought it, it seems pretty cool but after several periods of using this phone, it seems that you need to buy a better one, its good when it comes to features but the problem is, this hardware itself has defects, like its fragile screen and suddenly turning off of phones, do we need to upgrade the software of this phone or it is itself the phone has the problem?

is there anybody experiencing when you play your expressmusic player and when you kip it until its screen turn its light and when you resume your player, the songs previously played still on the screen even when subsequent is currently playing.

i got to be honest ive been through a couple of 5610's(1st and 2nd lcd problems,3rd slammed in the car door by accident,4th dont know what happened to screen)but besides the problems this is the greatest phone i ever had.I previously owned a 5300 and i must say that this phone is hot.the camera is too smooth the light is bright and it has autofocus.it plays clear movies(mp4) and it can take memory cards up to 16gb.if somebody is considering buying this phone all i have to say is get it unlocked because they dont have the lcd problems that the t-mobiles do overall:8/10

I hve ths phone for 4 months.. I hve a red one.. It has v6.60 RM242..
Sometimes when I try to play the video, the screen gonna black, n its restart it self..
So I want to upgrade my firmware into v8.30,,.
Anyone tell me whats the problm of v8.30, cuz I dont wnna to disappointed after I do upgrade my 5610..
Please Help me guyz......,.

so i suggest u conform properly....

bry, 21 Dec 2008i got the same prob to...vut mine lasted for 7 months befor... morebry, tq for reply me...
u say it is a lcd defect,
what make your phone turn into that problems...
is it same like me, where u play a video than it hang and damage the lcd... hope it is not lcd..huh...
cause i hope it is software damage or error...
if it was lcd, maybe i need to pay for it...huhuhu....

5610 XM owner, 21 Dec 2008i got this phone with blue color..
i just use it for 3 mon... morei got the same prob to...vut mine lasted for 7 months beforew it happened then i brought it to a shoip and they changed its lcd

with very care, however it still give me a problem..
i had read about the probs in this forum..
but still want to, coz some give positive feedback for this phone..
one i like about this phone is the camera n its flash, also big screen with high resolution,
but the restart problems very worst, it always happen especialy when i want to open video...
sadly, last week... i tried to open a video which is mtv.. suddenly it hang... n i turn it off and turn on back...
the screen turn into green n blue, than dark.. also sometimes it turn upside down.. very weird.. i send it to the shop where i bought it... it still under warranty, hope it can be repaired... so i can plan to sell it and get a new phone... is anyone get problems like me, can we share.. if there are anything that we can do to overcome it...
